after the eye test they gave me a copy of the prescription without asking but had to ask for the PD.
dont think contacts are for me, cant get used to touching my eye. but going back tomorrow to do the session again. they said the contact lens assesment was no obligation0 -

I successfully wore varifocal lenses for 3 years until 18 months ago. I started having trouble and my optician told me that it was no longer possible to get the balance right between the long and short vision so I reluctantly returned to glasses.
I have recently started wearing single vision lenses together with reading glasses and I am happy with that combination although I am always losing the glasses, my OH wears a cord around her neck but I don't want that.
I started with the dailies and then moved onto the the 30 day lenses however, I am 3 weeks in to my first pair and 2 days ago my eyes started to get irritated. I have put in a new pair this morning and they seem OK.
My question is, can anyone recommend a brand that actually last 30 days or is it pot luck? the brand I have at the moment are Ciba Vision Air Optix Aqua0 -
I forgot to mention, I use a computer for 6 hours a day, could this be causing the problem (drying out etc)0
