It's worth trying sites in the US. Haven't done it for a while, but was a fair bit cheaper last time I did. Need to allow for import duty tho' if you are over a certain amount (£135?) and VAT.0

I've been buying daily lenses from www.daysoftcontactlenses.com for a few months now and have been really pleased with them and at £4.99 for a box of 32 lenses they are the cheapest I have ever found.0

There's a MSE Contact Lens Cost Cutting Article thread here on the Health and Beauty Board
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/517985
It started in 2007, so obviously head to the end of the thread for up to date info!0 -
I wear contacts some of the time. I use dailies from Specsavers, not a bad price.
I did try getting some from daysoft but gave up with them in the end.
My problem was that daysoft lenses are "one size fits all":- but of course they don't. My eyes are slightly "non-standard" and need a slightly different size to the daysoft ones, which Specsavers can supply.
However - I did find the daysoft ones to be very comfortable and I would certainly say - give them a try !0 -
I'd prefer to get some on the high street to start off with. However I've noticed that most places will only sell a three month supply or more. Does anyone know where I can just get a one month supply?0

I get mine from daysoft too. Quick delivery and the cheapest I've found.:hello:

You may well find that your optician will give you a trial pair - D&A did (a couple of years ago now) when I went back to cl after years of not using them. But think you will find the price online will be far cheaper.:hello:

Have you worn Contact Lenses before? If you haven't I would advise you to go with the Optician's offer to start off with, even if it means three months supply, until you find the lenses which suit you, not all suit everybody. Once you are happy then get them off the internet or whatever.0

I get mine from Specsavers and only buy 1 month, or the last couple of times have only bought 1 box of 30 technically 1/2 a month. I only wear one lense and both eyes same prescription. I don't buy their cheapest I get the acuvue ones that suit me best I think they are £34 for 1 months supply. My local does not always have in stock, but they usually arrive in a couple of days. I have thought of buying online but 1 box lasts me ages as I am only an occasional wearer of 1 lens.
I agree with SallyForth, my local optician has given me quite a few trials of various lenses to see which suited me best, he usually gives about 3-5 pairs of the daily ones to try, ask when you go for your eye test.0 -
Has anyone tried storing daily contact lenses overnight and using them for a second day.0
