Yes and no, my optician told me that it isn't advisable, but as long as I washed them with clean solution first there shouldn't be a problem.
I have worn the same lens on occasion for 3-4 days (taking out at night, obviously) when I've been caught out on holiday, and it hasn't affected my eye.
Only difference I had noticed is I could wear it for shorter periods each day as the lens was drying out a bit more each time.0 -
Hmm, I think I might try it, it would certainly reduce the costs although I have 3 pairs of 30 day lenses on order from Asda, they should be in on Thursday, these cost a third of the price of dailies.0

You can wear them longer as long as you clean them thoroughly (although an optician wont advise this)
Be very careful with the cleaning. I am under the impression that dailies are very fragile? I know my supa thick monthlies can tear if I have a rough nail or something so do be careful and inspect them for damage before re using. After all they are designed to be sterile and used just the once so I doubt they will be up to too much rough handling
I use my monthlies for 6 weeks or more0 -
I buy my focus dailies from secondsightonline, £51 for 90 pairs and free delivery, usually within 2-3 days. I to tried the daysoft and found I damaged more than I would normally. They are one of the few places i've found that you don't need to fax/post your prescription, you just enter it online.

you can get a free trial at specsavers0 -
I wear dailies and occasionally when Ive been running low on them I have soaked them in solution overnight and worn them the next day. Sometimes its fine but because they are so fragile they are more likely to tear, Ive had one split in my eye when I tried to take it out after wearing it for a second day
My optician is very against wearing re wearing dailies as he thinks its bad for your eyes but I would still do it again if I was running out of lenses - but only as a very desperate measure!
I do think your eyes are so precious you have to be as careful as possible with them and the reason I opted for dailes is because they are meant to be hygienic.0 -
I don't suppose its worth the risk of getting an infection or worse.0

Hi - can I echo what has been said above - daysoft are cheap and they are excellent lenses - they will supply one month - this will cost £10 delivered - cant beat it0

I am currently with Specsavers - I pay £25 per month for dailies
I have just ordered their equivalent for £9.98 for one months supply - I am going to try them out and if they are fine, then I will cancel my current contract - the only thing that I will have to do is pay for an eye test each year - which at £25 is a little price to pay to save £15 pm!0
