I have used daysoft 58 for quite a few years. I have done cross comparisons with standard daily J & J Acuvues and found them to be very similar. The general advice is to find a practitioner who prescribes Daysoft. The Daysoft customer care team will be able to tell you which local optometrists use them.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

I tried specsavers dailies afew years ago and they were horrific, my eyes were really painful. Since then I've been on Daysoft and they're fantastic. Often I wear them from first thing in the morning to last thing at night with no discomfort at all. And they deliver them really quickly too (and of course they're cheap!!).
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
I use focus dailies that I get in Costco and the price of the Daysoft 58 seems to be about the same. I don't really like the focus dailies as my eyes get sore after about 8 hours wear so I might give these a try. Thanks!Jane

I wondered what others did about wearing contacts in the water. I am always petrified about them either popping out or getting a bug in my eye but is it safe or am I being too paranoid?0

Hi, I did this once, went swimming with them in and ended up with an eye infection, so I would advise against it,(altho that was in highly chlorinated water, maybe in clear water might be ok?).
Thing is if you get water in your eye, you instinctively rub it, not good with a lens in!0 -
Hi
Yes i wear mine in the water, to the gym, I sleep in them, walk in them, do everything in them without problem.0 -
Nope. I spent £40 on prescription goggles from boots and it was one of the best things I ever did0

My optician said people shouldn't wear them in swimming pools. He showed me lots of pictures of eye infections - lovely! I suppose if you wore goggles over them that definitely don't let water in you might be okay.0
-
I asked my optician about it and he said the best thing would be to wear daily disposables and throw them away after.0

I'm so blind without them I'd be too scared to go swimming without! Wouldn't want to fall over something on route to the pool! I just make sure I take them out right after and give them a really good clean. Probably not advisable but then perscription goggles are so expensive, so really my only option.0
