At last got round to doing my billing today and sorted my VAT out.
I am also planning to complete a NI form as they believe I may have overpaid NI last year.
Am going to transfer £100 ebay earnings from paypal today.
Got £85 back from quidco too, so I combined with the paypal monies, this covers the cost of closing down the mortgage once the outstanding amount gets cleared on completion! Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

HI all,
Today I have made rolls for the first time ever, normally dh makes bread but I'd thought I'd have a go now I'm off on mat leave. Going ok so far, will cook them at tea time to have with soup.
Also purchased 5 packs of seeds for £1 - hopefully to grow lettuce, onions, beetroot, carrots and cucumber, I might be a bit late in starting but never mind. Potatoes and tomatoes already growing well in the garden and need to tidy up herbs patch.

I'm quite pleased with myself for banking dosh for DS (my MSE apprentice) and not crossing the road to pop in to the charity shop, as I usually do.
Didn't gain anything, apart from almost certainly avoiding spending by buying something! What I don't see, I don't need, and won't worry about.
Gotta get into this new money dieting habit and take it seriously.
Also yesterday, instead of intended pub lunch, (just a treat once in a while) got McD instead (healthy option salad :A) and went for picnic by the river, taking my own bottle of water. Cost less than the pub grub and drinks. Will do that again next time, or  even better take my own home made cheaper picnic lunch.
Hottest day of the year so far and a beautiful setting, it gave me a nice lift.
Its only worth doing if you do it properly, that's my mantra for this week as I start to get into it...Bless Martin's Little Cotton Socks. I thank him for giving us MSE. Look what its grown into!

So far this week every day has been a NSD and tomorrow should be too!
I have had my rent money from my lodger last night although cant get to a bank till tomorrow.
I have printed off my coupon for a free smoothie from the weekly email and will use it when my OH and I go food shopping.
Transfered some uneeded wages from my current account to hopefully gain some extra interest
I also joined the bview site although not managed 20 reviews as yet. Done a few onepoll surveys and piggy clicks too.
Will really try and list something on Ebay tomorrow, I seem to keep failing to do this.Debt Free - done

Well rolls turned out pants as didn't rise well, I don't think the yeast was quite right. Still tasted nice though.0

Hi evab - if you're using a machine for the bread, did you use a recipe intended for rolls. or just the regular bread one? Our MR Fastbake has a "proper" rolls recipe which has always turned out beautifully.
I did something without trying today as I got a payrise! Nothing massive, but it will equate to about another £50 p/m so that's a bit extra going into the pit now. I'm going into the online banking later on to change my monthly figure for heading off to my savings account and then on to the ISA! :j
I have sorted out lots of vouchers - I have the free smoothie one, a 100 clubcard points one on a £4 laundry powder spend, a £4 off total spend over £40 and (whether this one will work I have NO idea!) a £10 off £50 clothes spend all to take with me to Tesco on friday evening. My list for our monthly stock-up shop is carefully worked out, and I shall be sticking to it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

You can't go wrong for £1, even if only a couple of things come up it'll be cheaper then buying at the supermarket. When you plant the seeds, pop clingfilm over them and put them near a sunny window (sorry if you know this already) it'll bring them along nicely. The plants have 2 options, grow or not grow....plus check the use by date on the packet, if there is a while left then keep some seeds for growing at the early part of the season. My packet of Autumn King carrots came with about 1500 seeds:eek: .....suffice to say I've not planted that many and have a nice amount left for subsequent planting and for early next year too.
Good luck with it and hope babe isn't giving you too much grief, these wee boys do like to practice their football skills in your tum!

Hi EH - I made the rolls by hand a proper roll recipe but I don't think I had the milk warm enough for the yeast and also not in a hot enough place to rise, never mind I'll try again.
Hi LM - thanks for the advice, I have some little pots to grow the seeds in so will try your suggestions. Baby is definitely letting me know he is there, lots of braxton hicks (or branston pickles as dh likes to call them!) not long to go now arrrrrrrrrrrh (in a good way!!) :-)
