Today OH and I will continue packing up OH's house ready for the completion next Friday and our mortgage-freedom!!!
Have found some plain light roses and fittings in the garage to replace our fancy light fittings, avoiding having to pay for new ones.
Did my piggy clicks first thing this morning.
Took down curtains and rails yesterday and washed and air-dried them - ready to iron today and put on ebay next cheap listing day. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Well I was going to go into town and get a wedding present from Zara Home and some shoes but misplaced my credit card. Whilst looking for it found gift certificate for Habitat so going to use that to get the wedding present.
Have found credit card and written out my shopping list so I am not tempted to buy excess. Still have wine left over from present so going to enjoy this tonight while watching Dr Who.MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

Got one like this in shinny blue for £5.60 from Tesco (bargain):j
Now that oil is $139 they should start paying for themselves.
Today I'm going to
1) research pressure cookers.
2) Just have the hot water on once
3) Make sure all the slugs & snails aren't feasting on my bedding plants
4) Try and get a reduction on my buildings & contents Insurance
5) Get a reduction on my AA fee
6) Not use my washing machine until Monday
7) Try and eat less :-(

Hi i would be interested in knowing which pressure cooker you think is good. We had one years ago and i gave it away as we cant use it on the ceramic hob that we have. I have been wondering whether it would be worth getting one again, although i do use a saucepan steamer a lot so i am not sure it would be worth it.

Today:
- DH did all our shopping and collected dry cleaning for under our budget of £50 (included a sneaky cheese and mushroom croissant)
- Placed an ad on freecycle for veg/herb plants and have been offered a whole load, which we're picking up later
- Paid for tax disc online from "annual expenses" pot, so no impact on our cash flow (also got entered for prize draw for doing so)MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

reviewed my Direct Debits, and found two going out every month that should have been cancelled when I moved into my new flat, so on the one hand I feel foolish for not having spotted them (I did cancel the insurance on my old house, but the insurance company kept taking the ££ out), on the other that is a £22/month less in expenses.
Did my new daily click routine, thanks to Eager LearnerLindsayO

Today I have ...
- transferred all my tracking spreadsheets from my old laptop to my new one and updated them all
- requested a payout from ciao surveys (only £5.76, but it's taken ages to get there since they started paying 10p for most surveys so I only do the rare ones that pay more)
- opened a new ISA for this year and filled out what I can of the form to transfer last year's ISA in
- decided what to do with my other ISA account and am going to visit A&L during the week to get it transferred to their new product
- had a NSD
- worked out my tax for the last tax year and have worked out that I'm owed £600 (I really hope I haven't made a mistake somewhere) so will phone the tax office on Monday to ask them to send me the form I need to claim it back
- filled out the form to request a 1 year reduction in my mortgage term to get my monthly payments back to where they were before the rate reductions that have happened in the past few months.
- it's my Grandpa's birthday this week so I'm going to make him a card rather than buy one.
- signed up for the playboy casino so just need to wait now for the offer email to arrive.0 -
Today I will
- have a NSD
- have a NPD
- eat stuff I bulk-cooked yesterday
- do a full load of washing and line dry it
- start to prepare the garden for some container grown veg
