Had to pay babysitter for a couple of hours this morning, but bar that, a NSD.
Rounded down mortgage by £30 to bring it down to the next hundred. Can't do that too often though!"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris0 -
NSD for me today as working at home.
I have had notification of a £100 payment from the HMRC for submitting my company's annual return electronically (imagine - money back from the Tax office!)
I have been relisting items on ebay that previously haven't sold, plus adding some more as its half price listing day today. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Today I have spent quite a bit but it was all planned, unfortunately. My car needed two new tyres so I rang round and got the cheapest price locally. I used my AA discount to get an extra 10% off but they still set me back £264:eek: . I did a little shop at Aldi on the way back and spent £17 which will do me as a top-up - I was desperate for milk, cereals, bread and salad/vegetables. I also bought some yoghurts and some isotonic sports drink for DS, who takes it when he goes football training. All in all, a good trolleyful for £17 I thought.
I had planned a trip to Manchester with DS and my sis, but she called early this morning to say she had been asked to go into work so she couldn't join us. We'll save that trip for another time. We saved the petrol and went to the National Football Museum instead, which is much closer and we hadn't visited before. We enjoyed our afternoon, although it was very quiet for the Half-Term holidays.
I have had a good month and have paid an extra £900 O/P, in addition to the regular amount of just over £400, so that's £1300 off the capital this month. Don't think I'll do as well next month, but you never know.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

- sold some bits on ebay, did a magazine sub on quidco and got £4.80 for doing it also got a £30 bottle of perfume which sold on ebay!
- working extra hours while the hours are there, not always possible so grabbit while you can!

It sounds like everyone is doing really well with the small things to keep the OP pot filled up.
Not much from me today - have brought in lunch and am having freezer dinner so a NSD
My family and friends are impressed with my ebay selling success and I am now starting doing some selling for them (as they are technophobic or can't be bothered themselves) with the deal that I get 25% of the proceeds (after all costs) so this will all go straight into OP pot - it won't be a big amount but every little bit helpsMS Stalwart. A little thing I do everyday (you can only do this if you happen to live in this part of southern Spain!).
You know the Lanjaron bottled water that you can buy from supermarkets in the UK?
It comes free out of the taps and fountains here.
So....every day I fill my water bottles up with fresh spring water from the Sierra Nevada!:rotfl: :rotfl:
So....don't have to buy any bottled water at all and it's nicer than orsinary tap water.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

A NSD for me at last! Took lunch and snacks into work. I'm staying in tonight to get some studying done so won't need to spend anything. I had to do an emergency snack run last night
but really don't need to do that tonight.

Oh dear, just spent £7.20 in M&S but I think a bit of careful meal planning and imagination with the contents of my veg box should get me through to the end of next week without having to spend any more on food.
I'm meeting a friend for a drink tonight but won't need to spend much.
The big thing I need to do towards my MF journey is redo my budget as I've just had a payrise. I need to make that extra £75 a month work hard!0 -
