Thanks for the link and the offer of help - is it OK if I get DH to pm you with any questions?
The people on this site are just so fantastic :beer:People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

Taurus - we had a similar problem a few weeks ago. DH removed the taps with difficulty but we couldn't buy the part we needed so he put them back on and they stopped leaking???!?! Most odd!
I feel for you Mudbath !! Odd thing was, DH turned water off at hot and cold. Removed top of tap to check washers and what inside looked like, took a couple of photos, then put it all back together. He turned on cold water - no drip. Turned on hot water - no drip straight away, but then drip returned same as before so assumed the drip was coming from hot tap.
BUT when I turned the hot tap on later, the hot water was coming out at it's usual snails pace (we have lousy water pressure here) but with a cold drip, dripping behind the hot water IYSWIM.
Oh well, suppose if DH HAS to do the job (and I am NOT looking forward to this, am fed up of irritations and hassle this month) I suppose I will at least learn a few new "words" :rotfl:People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

Afternoon everyone.
Feeling rather lethargic again today. DS2 being a bit more demanding, and DS1 being very moody and demanding attention all the time. Starting to dread DH's return to work, as although it will only be hell for a short while, it will be hell.
I had a bit of a rough night so i got a sleep in this morning till DS1 came and attacked me. I hurt my neck cos i fell asleep while winding DS2 and laid with it funny. It felt like i had been awake hours last night.
We are just chilling a bit while ds1 naps and then going to visit my parents this afternoon to get out the house for a bit. then we are going to cook a roast this evening.
it's a bit cold and miserable, so i can't really get inspired today.
jobs to do this week by me or DH:- ironing pile to sort and clear
- change water in 2x lots of flowers
- make up spare bed for MIL staying next week
- move some of ds's toys upstairs
- talk to J about food options for her 40th wedding anniversary boat cruise
- hoover hall/porch/stairs/landing/bedrooms x3/bathroom
- put up height chart in DS's room
- [STRIKE]assemble baby bouncy chair[/STRIKE]
- us visit my parents
- brush both cats and check again for fleas, put on a frontline treatment
- swap bedside light in our room for ds1's, as it has a dimmer switch for less brightness while night feeding
- washed a load of bibs
- stripped ds1's wet bed and washed that
- quick tidy up of nappies etc from through the night
