Thanks AnW'sMum - appreciate the good vibes ...... to replacing the sink etc, don't know how we would afford that at the moment
Not that I wouldn't like to make BIG changes in the kitchen. When we bought this house in 1992 it still had a falling to pieces 1960's sink unit and a mismatch of cupboards. I did my best with paint and fabric and a dresser to make it cosy and ended up loving it lots, but DH kept on and on about how inefficient it was and how much storage space we would have if we had a proper fitted kitchen done, so we saved up and had one in 1998. WORST mistake for me ever because I just have never ended up loving it. If I could afford to I would rip it all out - but I can'tPeople Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

*puffs back to armchair* First coat done, another wash load on the line and a third half way through the cycle!
:coffee: anyone? The pot's on? I might just do early lunch for DS (who's only just srtuggled out of bed) and me. DD is not back till about 7 and DH should be about 8, so nice "quiet" day for us two!:p
Lil_me - that's not such a bad idea. I might see what the doc suggests and then perhaps try NSPCC again.
Thanks for the hugs etc from anyone else. I'm now going to close my lounge windows as the noise from the kids on the green is annoying me and my headache! I asked if they couldn't go and play at the back as there's a bigger area, but they said the police man said they're not allowed, so they play at the front, hitting my fence with their football, knocking my plants and leaving my gate when they collect the ball - but - the woman who wakened me the other night's just told her's to be more careful and make sure to knock and ask for the ball.

Just done tesco shop for stuff to last till end of month (hopefully) so just some fruit and veg top ups. I am hoping to come in under budget by £80 - so that should pay girls ballet lessons for next half term. I worried I have lost reciepts or something though. Got a 1000 point code to work too so another £40 in deals so another family trip to Wickstead payed for.
Plan when I get home:-
Put Wash on (school stuff) then TD
Sort undies bag (outstanding from Friday)
Prep salad stuff
Collect DD1 from party
Tea & dishes
HHI while watchin "I'd do anything" - sad I know but have to record it for girls.0 -
Taurus - we had a similar problem a few weeks ago. DH removed the taps with difficulty but we couldn't buy the part we needed so he put them back on and they stopped leaking???!?! Most odd!0

I am still here - lol
Struggling to keep on top of everything - housework, charity work, appointments and supporerting DH in his new jobAlso arranging DD1's birthday party next Saturday.
Going to try harder again next week and try and get on top of it all today in the hope it will be a bit easier
Hugs to you all

we were out most of yesterday having a long walk and picnic with DS2 as we don't feel he's been getting his share of attention recently and wanted to try and redress the balance a bit.
That's what I did with DS2 yesterday took him on a cycle ride, to the library and for a doughnut for the same reasons as you!
Lunch done now. So back to DS3 room.
Pigpen I am concentrating on bedrooms next week as none have been done this week and I usually give them a good going over every school break but we are away at half term. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
