Well have just done ironing so just back up to date - till another load washed tomorrow:mad: . I drove to collect DD1 from her party so practice done, got an excellent from DH too:D . Dont think I will do anymore private driving between now and my test though as our cars are so different. The one I am learning to drive in is brand new and mine is a 10 year old little runner. Why dont they do driving lessons in bangers as i would have though very few people can afford a brand new car after paying a forture for lessons;) .

PF - that cake is fab, very talented lady who made that - DDs would LOVE that.:D

    what did i predict.

I just ate my roast beef while feeding the baby. i would never have done that with ds1 - looking back i was so perfectionist and stressed the whole time and it wasn't always enjoyed. me and dh even managed a serious conversation. (i did have to get dh to cut up my meat though - he says its good preparation for when i am old :rotfl: )

lol at your multi tasking michelle! I think most people are more relaxed with no.2, I know I was was and I think it's why dd2 is less damanding and more laid back as a toddler(well most of the time!) than dd1 was!

As for me I'm not sure I'm going to be doing much flying this week, more damage controll. Have been emptying out dd1's room ready for the plasterer but OMG how do kids acumulate so much stuff!!! I haven't been able to move the bed cos I didn't realise it needed an allen key to take it apart and I have no idea what I did with it??? Do you think the plasterer will mind if I leave it there?? If not I'll shove it in my room in the morning. It's only the frame anyway. DD1 is sleeping on her matress on dd2's floor tonight.

I made my first loaf of bread in my bread maker tonight too, quite pleased it looks ok just need to wait till it cools and I can taste it. I did the medium size and it's quite a good size!

PinkFairy - I really hope that it works out for your DS's GF. I've just read on another thread about a young 16 year old wanting to leave her home as her father is abusive when drunk, and there was a suggestion to get in touch with Connexions, who can help young people, not absolutely sure just what they can offer, but may be worth a google at least.

And at the risk of being thrown off the thread, I don't like cats. I particularly don't like the neighbouring cats who have cr****d all over every patch of bare soil in my garden  in the last couple of days.[/quote]

Serena - I'll check out Connexions, thank you. AnW's mum suggested a diary, which is a good idea and SSL (I think, and apologies if not) said she'd asked colleagues in the force for info. Anything that'll help.

You wouldn't mind my cats so much - they haven't been outside since we moved here in Jan 05, so they don't even spoil my garden! It's a bit of a pain cleaning the litter tray in the bathroom, but better than having them digging in the garden. I've got enough with the dogs!:rotfl:

I'm nipping over to the new thread. Bye!
