Strong if you can track them down. You may not be the only one, have you been to the police?

Probably not in all honesty as although there is an intention to deceive the auction still required quite a large degree of negligence on the part of the buyer.

As there are no completed listings with this title I am also assuming this all happened quite a while ago, so chasing the seller down now may prove difficult and you need to be able to find him to serve court papers.

I know what your saying but thats a lot of money to give up on.

Personally id see if I could find his address and then take it from there.

You might be able to try for 'deception' but that's about it, I doubt whether fraud would be considered possible as once again you got what you paid for.

Even if you do win at small claims they don't automatically get your money back, so you would have to be prepared to put time and effort into this. That's why getting together with other buyers might be benficial.

I was watching Judge Judy a couple of months back and they had someone on there that got scammed the same way. They got there money back.

I would find out about taking them to small claims court and make sure next time you read descriptions properly.

Wouldn't happen to be one with a lady ripping of a couple of women over a mobile phone would it?

If so I also saw that one and boy did she lay into her and rightly so.

Judge Judy is a TV show.

If someone on Trumpton got had over on ebay it would have about as much bearing on the real world...
