I haven't received the usual email notification for my latest 18185 invoice (sender allowed and checked junk folder). Does anyone know if this is a general problem? I've tried contacting them through their online form service, but (not surprisingly), I haven't had any reply.0

However, if the outstanding amount is small, no invoice will be forthcoming (I have had a balance of £1 owing on my 1899 account for well over a year now).
OTOH, have you checked your online account to see if another invoice has been produced?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
The first invoice is usually received after about a month but, thereafter, bi-monthly is typical.

Thanks Heinz: As you say, they usually send my invoices bi-monthly (have been using them for a couple of years' now thanks to your "6 steps to reducing costs"). The amount has been taken out of my bank account for the latest invoice, but they haven't sent the usual email.

I think this service is ok, but the better service fro cheap calls is hellotalk.co.uk. which i have been using for the last 6 months to call USA for only 1p per minute. that is to USA mobile and landlines.
for calls to mobile they have a sms servce which can be dialed via use of cross network minutes.
Works a treat!0 -

I have been using 18185 and 1899 etc for some years now and, by and large, I haven't had any problems. Usually whenever they transfer money from my account by DD to pay a bill, I receive an email with details.
I've recently noticed some unexpected entries on my bank statement. It turned out they were bill payments for these companies which I hadn't received any emails about. Checked the spam filter but that wasn't responsible.
However, when I checked both the respective websites, I found that my email address (in personal details) was recorded with an erroneous asterisk (*) in front of the first character of the address. Whatever caused this must have happened fairly recently as otherwise I would not have received their emails in October.
Interestingly, 18186 had my address recorded correctly.
So I have corrected the errors in the email addresses and will wait to see if I now start receiving their billing emails again.
Has anyone else had the same problem...?

Hi
We have been using 18185 since January, and I don't think we ever had an email for a bill!
I just checked our details on their website and there was a * in the front of the email address too
I'm not sure how thoroughly I checked the bank statements now either
Hope that helps!

Yes, I didn't receive an email for my last 18185 bill. Sent them a message on their website form, but never had any feedback from them. Checked my email address they have, and it also had the asterisk (but not now!). Wonder what happend to their system to add these to the email addresses.0 -
The message wasn't very clear on 18185 but it sounded like 7p per minute for mobiles yesterday (sunday) but 1899 is still anouncing 6p per minute.
According to their sites BOTH are still 6p per minute (Weekends)
