    Well done, things are coming along nicely.

    Just one question:- how many are you feeding??:D

    Any one would think the local army were coming :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I've asked her the same question once or twice myself! :rotfl:She just likes her fresh toms, our MrsM. :D

    I confess to being a tomato addict -only home grown ones though :D
    I only have to feed hubby and me ...but during summer we eat salad every day and hubby takes them for work too. Any extras I grow get roasted off with the courgettes. peppers, aubergines and stuck in the freezer -makes lovely pasta sauces :T
    I also have a bee in my bonnet about never being able to get enough peas to keep us going -so I have set even more this year ...not sure any will make it into the freezer though ;)

  • Here's a link to the photos of some of mine. This is my first time growing and I'm really enjoying it. We moved into a house with a greenhouse already there which was lucky and that's what really prompted me to grow my own.

    I thought I'd show you my Before & After Pictures. Work started back in January clearing tonnes of rubble and weeds in what was originally going to be a driveway and creating a make shift raised bed.

  • WOW !! you all look absolutley brilliant well done everyone we have just bought a detached bungalow and its got a huge garden not been touched for years, well we do have a job on our hands i want to set up raised beds and there is already a greenhouse complete on sleepers just needs relocating there is strawberry plants fruiting everywhere we are not greenfingered but going to have a go once the interior is sorted electrics and plumbing etc a major revamp first but seen this has wet my appetite for the garden now thanks to all Diane

    Wow everyone's gardens look really good. Very inspiring!

    This is my front garden with 3 gooseberries and a jostaberry against the green fence (in the hope of covering it up) and there is also a dwarf apple tree in the centre.

    These are my 2 raised beds one with root veg and one with brassicas in and some Thai Dragon chillis and peppers on the table.

    Here i have another gooseberry on the left, a few strawberries, A kiwi in the middle which is lovely and furry and peas growing up the wall.

    I also have a small walk in plastic greenhouse with toms, cucumbers, courgettes, pumpkins melons, beans growing in. I have strawberries in troughs along the wall between the neighbours and also have tons of runner beans growing. I have tried many different things this year, some experimental but loving it all. I have even managed to fit in a cherry tree and a dwarf terrace peach tree (i'll have to wait until next year to see what comes of that) I dabbled last year but was a little late for any decent produce. fingers crossed this year. :T
