I confess to being a tomato addict -only home grown ones though :D
I only have to feed hubby and me ...but during summer we eat salad every day and hubby takes them for work too. Any extras I grow get roasted off with the courgettes. peppers, aubergines and stuck in the freezer -makes lovely pasta sauces :T
I also have a bee in my bonnet about never being able to get enough peas to keep us going -so I have set even more this year ...not sure any will make it into the freezer though ;)

  • Here's a link to the photos of some of mine. This is my first time growing and I'm really enjoying it. We moved into a house with a greenhouse already there which was lucky and that's what really prompted me to grow my own.

I can't get over how neat everyone's patch is and how much has been crammed into such small spaces. Well done and thank you for the photos.

This is my front garden with 3 gooseberries and a jostaberry against the green fence (in the hope of covering it up) and there is also a dwarf apple tree in the centre.

These are my 2 raised beds one with root veg and one with brassicas in and some Thai Dragon chillis and peppers on the table.

These are my potatoes that are growing like crazy. Pentland Javelin, King Eds and Vivaldi

Here i have another gooseberry on the left, a few strawberries, A kiwi in the middle which is lovely and furry and peas growing up the wall.

I also have a small walk in plastic greenhouse with toms, cucumbers, courgettes, pumpkins melons, beans growing in. I have strawberries in troughs along the wall between the neighbours and also have tons of runner beans growing. I have tried many different things this year, some experimental but loving it all. I have even managed to fit in a cherry tree and a dwarf terrace peach tree (i'll have to wait until next year to see what comes of that) I dabbled last year but was a little late for any decent produce. fingers crossed this year. :T
