    Hello everybody,

Back from Kerry at 6pm...took 7 hours including the time we stopped for lunch, then I had to divide all the fish into packets we would use at one meal...reckon there are at least 10 meals, smoked some in wok too...couldn't remember exactly what goes into smoking mixture so used tea and sugar...doesn't have smoky taste but nice with some brown bread and butter just the same. Tired now but glad that the weather was so good...not the greatest place in the rain!

Welcome to newbies...think there were some over weekend.

Hugs to Smoky, Mrs Mix, Candygirl, PenPin and anyone else in need or want

    Talk tomorrow

    Yoohoo!! :hello: :D

Sorry I've been a bit lax about posting but I've been very busy and get too distracted when I post on here in the mornings. :o

I have listed 30 items this week on Ebay and they are selling well with another 10 to go on tommorrow so that has kept me busy washing and ironing lots of clothes. I've also been stocking up the freezer with building blocks a la Thriftlady in an effort to stop chucking stuff away. ;)

Today I gave the kitchen a deep clean before anyone was up (though it needs it again now  ) and baked some rolls (again a la Thriftlady) :D We had the rolls for lunch with leftover pork from last night and with barbequed sausages for tea. It was a stunning day so we had a lovely walk on the beach and then pottered in the garden. I'm afraid I'm riskier than you Twink :p and all my veggies are outside. The carrots , broad beans and onions poked their heads through yesterday so I'm hoping for a good crop. ;)

Anyhoo.... Is anyone still listening? :o:D

Hope you're doing ok smoky

    Happy Birthday Buffy.

And a big wave and kiss to Shez. :hello:

    Byeeee.

Twink Why are you buying 4p curry sauce FGS. Is this your new challenge? How long does it take to destroy my throat. :D

Hey, HJ, I'm listening... but not participating (in OS, I mean) - I had a MASSIVE craving for a takeaway, so dinner was shredded duck with ho fun noodles...

Lol DG and Rzl. I only meant that I hoped I hadn't bored anyone to sleep.:o

Ebay is driving me nuts. But all the pennies are going towards our holiday spends so I suppose it will be worth it in the end. ;)

It's still warm here. I still have all the windows open. :D

Aussie... I've told you before, I get OH to do the mowing now. Too big a job for me. :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl: There speaks a true Aussie.

Well I'm even worse than an ex pom, I'm half Kiwi  . I wonder if Aussie will keep speaking to me after that revelation?

I was born in Asia, lived there for 14 years, off to the UK for 9 and now Melbourne for 1. My Dad's a Brit, my mum's a Kiwi, someone somewhere was born in Ireland, so I've got an Irish passport for good measure.

That background is extremely useful for watching the rugby, I can pretty much claim allegiance to any winning team. Except the springboks, must start doing some family tree research and see if I can't find a link somewhere;)
