Morning all
Hugs to Smokey, PP, Mrs Mix & anyone else in need.
Happy B'day Buffy.
Had a lie in this morning as hubby didn't have to be at the station till 7.
Katy came back at about midnight last night, instead of this afternoon, after having a row with her friends. BIL phoned last night & want's to stay with us tonight, another one who's marriage is in melt down, shame as he's a nice guy. He gives his wife £1200 housekeeping a month, she works full time & has run up thousands of £££ of debt.
Todays plans, prepare spare room for BIL, cook chicken, ham & mushroom pie for tea, it's BIL's favourite, & hem yet another set of curtains, & make a tray of flapjack to take to work tomorrow.
Have a good day.
Hugs Hester

Morning.
Nice and sunny here.
The chicken eggs have gone in to the incubator and have started the 21 day process, so we will see how many hatch out.
I would like to do some gardening today, but the family might have other plans such as going out! We will see.
I was delighted to learn that leicester were relegated yesterday. Sort of justic after their manager jumped ship from Plymouth. :rotfl:

Morning everyone it looks lile becoming a lovely day outside sun is shining here.
Was rather rudely awakened at 2.26am by a malicious call so I barred the number AGAIN:mad:
It is girls at my daughter school and it started in December ,this is the first one since January and I was actually thinking of canceling the choose to refuse service only a few day ago.
It has rather annoyed me,DD slept through it so I don't think I will tell her about it.
It cost's me £12 a quarter for the service:mad:
I think I am going to tackle the mound of Ironing today and do some cooking.
Hope everyone gets good weather to enjoy the BH with0 -
Morning all.
Hope you have all had a good weekend? We had a lovely lazy day on saturday in the garden, dh got loads of little jobs done and yesterday spent the day watching films with the kids.
Ds1 & ds3 are off to Malta tonight, im am quite `upset` about them going, keep having a little cry when no one is looking, im going to miss them so much, i know they are going to have a great time as did ds2 last year, maybe its because 2 of them are going that im more upset than last year????
So after a huge beef dinner and another film we are taking them to dh dads and step mums, to drop them off, just need to put last few bits in the case and they will be ready.
I am looking forward to being a `normal` 2 child family for 2 weeks LOL, That will cut the shopping bill down a little!!!!!! Just know dd and ds2 will be at each others throats by the time the boys are due back!
Right off to break out of the house, the dead locks on the back door have broken, and i cant get out!!! Lol dh about to either mend or break it down!
Have a wonderful bank hoilday
Hugs to all
Donna

:hello: good morning...and it looks like it is going to be a good morning.
washing machine is on. aiming to get all the big stuff washed and hung out. need to clear out living room for carpet fitters tomorrow, although since I havent paid the balance I dont know if it will go ahead. they phoned friday to say it was in, but I had to go out Saturday and when I went to shop yesterday they don't open sundays
and they are closed holiday monday. thought that would be their busiest times
Any way I'm sure I'll get it sorted tomorrow. need to go to cashline later as the fitters are to be paid in cash for fitting.
need to do some proper food shopping. have slipped in to bad habit of buying day to day for the last week.
if there's any spare time after all that might do some gardening.....feeling tired already!!x x x0 -
Morning all, As DH was up early I stripped the bed and now the bedding is on the line, I have persuaded him to help me clear out the shed, even though it is built of stone with 9" thick walls we still call it a shed. Our plan this year is to turn it into a conservitory, we will keep 3 of the walls and put on a glass roof and glass front with double doors. Last year the project was new hardwood windows and 2 lots of patio doors at the rear, we can't do the front as they are stone mullion, at least they wont rot. DH is keen to get started because that means he can use his brand new trailer, the last one broke due to collecting tons of materials for DD's patio. So with a busy day planned I have a curry simmering away in the oven for dins and pea and ham soup for lunch. Hope you all have a good day. (((((((((hugs to all in need)))))))))))))0

Morning everyone
I managed to talk to the ward sister yesterday when I went to see my dad the biopsy results haven't come back yet but they are pretty certain dad has
oesophageal cancer and the prognosis is not good my brother has been trying to get hold of the macmillan nurse he was told to phone and then dad will probably be going to a hospice
I somehow already knew that the news wasn't going to be good and I suppose it hasn't sunk in
sorry to put a downer on the thread but as my "friends" and the fact your're a great bunch I felt I needed to tell you
have a good day all
(((((((((hugs))))))))))) if you need one
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

Happy birthday to Buffy and Mme. Clochard :bdaycake:

Pandora205, here's how to do a tru. It's very easy - throw a strop and then go on strike
Tell them (very loudly) that you're fed up running around after them, doing (insert the things that drive you mad) for them and you might be their wife/mother, but that DOES NOT make you their servant. They live here too and the grass/dust/washing etc is just as much theirs as it is yours. It's best to do this when they're all there, saying it to one person at a time doen't have the same effect lol. I usually end it with 'from now on, you can sort yourselves out'. Then I only clear up after myself, leaving everything else to them. If they leave a mess, the mess gets thrown into their bedrooms. If they can't manage to put their clothes INTO the washing basket, or if they're inside out, they don't get washed - and they're thrown into their bedrooms. After a while, you'll notice that the amount of time between your rants will get longer as the message s l o w l y begins to sink in
Cat, no piggies yet
The vet said once you feel the babies moving, it'll be about 10 days. That would've made it last weekend but they still haven't arrived  She was about 3 months old when she got pregnant though, so she hasn't quite finished growing yet. Maybe you can feel the babies earlier when the mum is young because there's less room for them
This morning I came down to find her hidden at the back of the cage, she's completely covered herself in hay and she's fidgeting about. She's usually at the front trying to stick her head through the bars to see what's going on
So maybe something's happening right now.
Smoky
