Yes, I did a credit check yesterday and I have nothing on my credit record in relation to this either.

It's all very strange.

Wish they would just get their finger out and stop faffing around. Either take everyone to court or leave us all alone.

Yeah they definately faff that's for sure...well quite selfishly on this one, my credit is screwed anyway....so other than the principal of it they can do as they please with my score cos it ain't goin anywhere anyway :-(

In actual fact the letter's I've yet to send (still! LOL!) are reminders that AMC, Lyle Hill & Fitness Finance are all stupid for not reading BOTH the original cancellation letters. So, the fact that I have formerly told them to shove off already, means I can no longer be bothered to get paranoid about whether they are still trying to get in touch with me or not...cos I've said my bit...& I'm leaving it well alone, as we all have done...to the best of my ability!

Pete, I know exactly what you mean as my daughter and I signed up at the same time last year but I decided to cancel first. She has since decided to follow my example and cancelled her DD in January, she sent the same letters off as we all have but now we are getting a mix of letters addressed to both of us, even though I am several months down the line from her. It just goes to show, they just send out letters at random, not even checking who they are sending to!! Now I've replied in some detail to Empingham, I have definitely finished with the lot of them, they can go hang - just take us all to court and get on with it !!!!!!.

Yea....i want to know what happened to Sarah who started this thread!
I suppose no news means that nothing came of it!
Anyway i probably won't be on this board anymore, as i'm further along than most of you and TOUCH WOOD seems to be the end of it (o god, should i of said that?!!)
Of course i will let u know if anything happens though

It's obvious that they randomly send out as many letters as possible in the hope that someone will just slip thru into their trap & pay up....however I expect that by the time that happens, that most of the money will go to their POSTAGE anyway!!!

hi all sorry ive not been on for a while but ive been without a pc.
ive been reading all your mail, my advise to you all is just ignore them and they will soon get the message, if they were gonna do something they would of done it by now instead of writting silly letters. they know they avnt got a leg to stand on. they wiill target the week into paying so be strong:beer:

My previous landlord has collected a load of mail for me from my previous address...&...u guessed it, 4 letters from these bunch of idiots (You would seriously have to be an idiot if you had not worked out by now that the company requiring your services are also a bunch of idiots - however I use this word lightly as I don't really want to get banned from this forum for using the REAL words I'd like to use!!!)

Anyway, I shall tell them I have moved but still keep my new addy quiet (they could track me down if they really wanted to anyway) & also explain why I 'with held' my payment & 'cc' all this to Lylehill/Filife etc etc as well!

Hope all else are OK & not still being pestered by this lot!:mad:
