    Hi all
    quick question for you all
on the odd occasion that anyone has actually spoken to these idiots has anyone called them a con artist, if so what was their reaction to being called this

So far I haven't had the pleasure of speaking to anyone in person, all my correspondence has been by letter or e-mail. The only people I have spoken to are Trading Standards, Citizen's Advice and the lady who rang me from Watchdog. I'm so bored with it all, however if I do get a phone call I will do what Leecox did and say I am recording the call. Seems to have done the trick!

Just to let you know i have received another letter....i have replied wiht this e-mail, hopefully it will do the trick!!

Once again I have received more correspondence from yourselves (Ref:LYLE 51)

I have spoken to Trading Standards and they are well aware of your company and also Fitlife and Lyle Hill.

After receiving advice, this will be my final e-mail and hopefully it will explain everything.

The survey uk slip was misleading and that I believe I was tricked into signing the agreement.
You failed to give me the Pre Contract Information sheet prior to signing the Agreement, which does not comply with the Consumer Credit (Disclosure of Information) Regulations Act 2004.

I wish to cancel my credit agreement due to yourselves breaching the Consumer Credit (pre Disclosure) Regulations 2004. When I signed I was not given a Pre-Contract Information Sheet. The Credit Act says breach of the regulations means The Agreements are unenforceable without a court order.

I have also been informed that any Survey Uk fliers received after 26th May 2008 saying the recipient has won a prize is now a criminal offence due to the new laws brought in to outlaw scams. I received my flier Week Commencing 14th of July 2008. (I know this because I was given a time limit in which to join).

So given the fact that the Agreements are unenforceable without a court order, and the only reason why I ended up signing the agreement is because the flier was sent to me, which is a criminal offence.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you 'Associated Members Club' to inform 'Fitlife Ltd', 'Lyle Hill Ltd' and 'Empingham' or 'any other name that you and your associates wish to go by', that I have sent this letter and I do not wish to receive any more correspondence from any of you unless it is a court order or a court summons.

If this is still not clear could you please send me contact details for Fitlife Ltd, preferably a telephone number and address. This is because they seem to be uncontactable.

    Lots of Love

......I wasnt sure if Lots of Love was taking the p*ss too much, but they are winding me up now and I thought a little bit of cheek might start to annoy them!!!

These jokers really try hard don't they? ECI have been writing to my son for over a year now claiming to be a DEBT collection company. It wasn't until we looked at old bank statements that we discovered that ECI were the ones collecting the standing order payments in the first place when the membership was active. I have been ignoring all letters. Everytime my son gets one I file it. We haven't written to them in a long long time. The last letter I wrote to them on my son's behalf, I crammed in a bit of legal jargon and told them in no way come what may were they ever going to get another penny from my son. So every now and again they send a statement of payments made and a sticker with their telephone number asking him to get in touch. All in BOLD RED writing of course. designed to scare the bejesus out of us. I did of course tell them in my letter to please notify us of the court date as we will be delighted to attend.
    They are a joke!

Lee Cox you are hilarious by the way. why did I not think to add lots of love in my letter?
