Got the statement this morning I asked for jesus I must be paying the payment then they are taking it back off me in interest at this rate it will never be going down is there anyone who can check this. I thought when I took the loan on it would be a straight so many months payment at £261 etc and that was it they have charged me on the 26th of the month 4 times each month for phone calls and also letters my payments dont come off til the 1st so I will be trying to claim the charges back from that do you think I should send the statement to the FOS too with a covering letter.:jLiving Life to the Full0

That's strange, Helnag. I've only been allocated an adjudicator a couple of days ago after waiting 2 or 3 months. Is your case quite complex?
No not complex at all, is yours for PPI as well? Is it hardship?PAD total since 27/07/09 = £60.83 - [strike]Capital One[/strike]:[strike] £192.73[/strike]£27.00 Next catalogue: [strike]£429.00[/strike] £154.00Welcome car HP: [strike]£6090[/strike], £3900, Welcome Loan:[strike]£3370[/strike], £2660HLC #1: [strike]£907.00[/strike]£637.00, HLC #2:[strike] £838.00[/strike]£608.00Sealed Pot Challenge 2009 - Member #649 - Target £500...banked £119.50 already.0 -

Hi,
Can I just ask all of you...
1) What month your complaint was sent to FOS?
2) Was the complaint just regarding PPI or were there other issues too?
3) Were they hardship cases?
4) How long it took to get an adjudicator?
5) What date was the PPI policy taken out?
Sorry it's just that me and Rosie are both getting really frustrated now especially hearing how much quicker other cases are being dealt with!! Every time we call them they say 'a few more months' and 'it's all strictly date order'!!
We're both in situations where we need to know what's happening with Welcome to move on financially.
If you guys could give me the details above then next time I call FOS I will mention your cases and see what they say.
Many Thanks.

Hi
I have just spoken to Welcome compliance team and he says that they have come to the conclusion that it is best to settle rather than argue a lot of PPI complaints. He says they have a spreadsheet with 1300 complaints on it and they are working through it as quickly as they can and that every week they send their spreadsheet over to the Ombudsman and it is dealt with. He has told me that I am on the spreadsheet but he can't tell me how much longer it will be but certainly 'before Christmas!!'.
I will say he was actually quite a nice man and I am just relieved to know that my complaints will eventually be upheld. I don't mind waiting now!!

The no is: 0845 6187804.

My complaint was sent to FOS in March 2009 regarding PPI and no it wasnt a hardship case. Havent got any further forward but sent the Letter and statement from WF to FOS today so should get it sometime this week asked them to look into reclaiming all the charges as well as the PPI as I am still not happy with their reply, they can go and take a run and jump. Fed up with these people thinking they can ruin your lives.:mad:
Anyhoo I think I am way behind with the claim than everyone else on here and just want to know what my next step is ?:jLiving Life to the Full0 -

It's just a waiting game now really. Cases seem to be being dealt with a lot quicker and the impression I get now is that recent cases with the FOS are being dealt with as they come in as such. When the FOS contact Welcome for info they are just agreeing to settle straight away. It seems to be that the older cases are all in a queue that is being worked through bit by bit. xxPAD total since 27/07/09 = £60.83 - [strike]Capital One[/strike]:[strike] £192.73[/strike]£27.00 Next catalogue: [strike]£429.00[/strike] £154.00Welcome car HP: [strike]£6090[/strike], £3900, Welcome Loan:[strike]£3370[/strike], £2660HLC #1: [strike]£907.00[/strike]£637.00, HLC #2:[strike] £838.00[/strike]£608.00Sealed Pot Challenge 2009 - Member #649 - Target £500...banked £119.50 already.0 -

Hi when were your loan agreements dated? Were they prior to 2005?
