Are these before FSA jurisdiction then? What date were welcome regulated? Is that what you're trying to work out Rosie?? Whether they are dealing with sale date order?? Have they said something else to you since last pm?

I am thinking that cases pre Jan 2005 which is when Welcome were regulated by FSA may be the ones being held up?? My cases were 2003-2005 and has been literally gathering dust. Other people as whizzing through the system i am just wondering if part of the issue is agreement date? The FO told me there were jurisdication issues but they were resolved. I am starting to take what the FO say with a pinch of salt i am being told several different stories now.....hmmmm

No not complex at all, is yours for PPI as well? Is it hardship?

No, I didn't know you could claim for PPI under hardship or I would have.

Hi when were your loan agreements dated? Were they prior to 2005?

    Cheers

No, the current agreement was signed in 2007.

Yes you can apply for them to be fast tracked but they are very strict with it. It can be either if you are suffering health wise or severe financial problems. I think it has to be very severe though as in you may lose your home.

    I really am bamboozled now.
    * my case was put to the FO Feb 08 and the agreements were pre 2005; they are not resolved,
    * Helnags complaint was put to the FO in Feb 08 also and her agreements were post 2005; she has not had resolution.
    * Solo00 compained only 2-3months ago, so jan 09 say and their agreements was post 2005 and they have been dealt with.

There is nothing unform here at all? When i call they say complaints are being dealt with in date order lol. Im at my witts end

:confused:ross21096 has also kindly replied and confirmed they were not fast tracked either but got their complaint resolved. Their complaint went into the FO Dec08. Im really pleased people are getting resolutions but im concerned that some are being ignored for no clear reason at all? It not submission date and its not agreement date. They must be picking names from a hat lol I will just have to get back on the phone tommorrow and try dig deeper sob sob

I have been concerned about all of this for a while but every time I call FOS I mention that I've heard of these other cases and they say 'it's strictly date order'. Strictly date order my a$£%. I think a letter of complaint to the FOS is needed.

I agree it is good to hear people getting complaints resolved but it is bittersweet when we seem to have got no where after 14-15 months.

Feel free to mention me whilst you're doing battle, I wont get a chance to call them today but hope you get somewhere and will call them myself tomorrow.

    Fingers crossed you get somewhere.

That is quite confusing, I thought it was dependant on when the complaint was made and was dealt with in a queue, unless it was perhaps a complex issue.
