:oThats what they are telling people but its clearly not true. I have thousands of pounds owed to me in PPI off welcome finance and have been waiting over a year for it. Im so frustrated. When i call i get the same rehearsed rubbish and still no closer to resolution.......just have to keep chasing them?MY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing

That is quite confusing, I thought it was dependant on when the complaint was made and was dealt with in a queue, unless it was perhaps a complex issue.
Yeah it is strange, mine and Rosies are no more complex than anyone elses so goodness knows, maybe the hat thing isn't too far from the truth.PAD total since 27/07/09 = £60.83 - [strike]Capital One[/strike]:[strike] £192.73[/strike]£27.00 Next catalogue: [strike]£429.00[/strike] £154.00Welcome car HP: [strike]£6090[/strike], £3900, Welcome Loan:[strike]£3370[/strike], £2660HLC #1: [strike]£907.00[/strike]£637.00, HLC #2:[strike] £838.00[/strike]£608.00Sealed Pot Challenge 2009 - Member #649 - Target £500...banked £119.50 already.0 -

Just persevere you will all get there eventually. I am waiting for my refund from welcome, they have had 3 weeks so far from agreeing to the FOS decision. I am looking forward to having some money0 -

:T Well done and sorry if I've already said it, this thread seems to move so fast!!
Can I ask when you put your complaint into the FOS?
Again, sorry if I'm repeating myself. xxPAD total since 27/07/09 = £60.83 - [strike]Capital One[/strike]:[strike] £192.73[/strike]£27.00 Next catalogue: [strike]£429.00[/strike] £154.00Welcome car HP: [strike]£6090[/strike], £3900, Welcome Loan:[strike]£3370[/strike], £2660HLC #1: [strike]£907.00[/strike]£637.00, HLC #2:[strike] £838.00[/strike]£608.00Sealed Pot Challenge 2009 - Member #649 - Target £500...banked £119.50 already.0 -

I have now m8. Just to let you know the reason our claims are being dealt with different is because welcome finance have put in place new procedures. All new cases are going through the new procedure route which clearly is faster and better. Unfortunately ours are stuck in the old route but im told we will egt sorted soon. They aiming for before Christmas to give people Yes or no after ful investigation. However the 1300 cases in the queue are aiming to be reviewed before end of July although the full conclusion wont be reached until this side of Christmas. Why oh why couldnt the FO told us anything. They know all this but choose not to keep anyone in the picture. I have had not correspondence from the FO since last year as far as i knew my case could have been lost. Had i not called Welcome i would have been sure that was what happened lol. Oh i was also told Feb 08 are some of the earliest cases but there are some older!! Feel sorry for people worse than us gosh its driven me crazy lolMY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing

I tried to top up last month, but was told they now had a policy not to top up loans over £5000,and since mine was over 6 they were unable to help.
I called back today just out of curiosity and was told i could now top up,although they cold not confirm when or if the funds would be paid out.Not sure if this is a step forwards or backwards...0 -

It sounds like they are lending again from what you are saying. Someone's bailed them out? If i were you, speaking from someone who had 5 loans with them 4 of which top ups; do not top up! Their interest rates are disgusting. If you are struggling for cash don't keep borrowing like i did, peter to pay paul. Try be debt free and try to pay back your debts. Aim to be debt free thats when you will have more cash. Its took me few years but im almost there now i have gone from approx 12creditors to only 2!!! Theres lots of help on here to get debt free watch out for welcome they are such a rip offMY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing
