At the moment there doesn't look as if anyone is prepared to over the debts of wf, so it might take a while for it all to be sorted.
Be nice if it took 6 years (Yes I know wishful thinking:rolleyes:)
We could all be free of these leeches then and there would be nothing they could do about legally............Hoping the law changes to 4 years no contact soon?

Am I being stupid here but does that mean if no one wants to take over WF debts would it just get written off then? Or would we still be paying out monthly payment I am wishful thinking I think or hope cos if that was to happen to us I for one would be so much better off it would be unreal?:T heres hoping they do go bust shower of chancers I asked them for a statement as to what I have paid etc and still waiting:confused::mad:

I have been waiting now '84' days for a reply to my complaint AND since sending postal orders for CCA information. Trading standards debt manager wrote to them on 27th February and he hasn't had a reply either!
TS gave them a month from 27th Feb. All my paperwork is in the hands of TS, but I still send them token payments each month, not much though
  • the loan I have is a secured one altho when I got this loan i had negative equity in my property and did ask for an unsecured one but I cant not pay this as it is secured on my house.

I completed a form about 3 wks ago and havent even had the courtesy of a reply so have sent them a letter asking for a reply or I will pursue this with the FSO also have been getting phoned about 13 times in the one day and letters from them when I had initially spoken with one of them on the Thursday which is 4 days before my dd comes out and they slap 50 quid charges on my balance which has went up at least 800 in about 3 months. They arent getting away with it and I will take them all the way.

I didn't bother to get in touch with them, but sent an harrassment letter (signed for their end) Waited the 12 days, sent paperwork off to FOS waited a further 40 days and rang TS who got in tough with one of their debt advisors, he has now taken on my case . Just a suggestion maybe you could get in touch with TS.
Tell them it's affecting your health and wellbeing ect ( wf is enough to get anyone sectioned!)
    Keep going, keep posting here.:j

I expect you know that you should don't put your signature on any letter to them

You're well within your rights to stop payment now as they've breached your CCA request. You'll prob find it'll make them move faster as well.

I'm thinking that if I keep up a token payment each month and wf take me to court, this may prove I 'm 'trying to pay my debt back at a rate I can afford.
Trying to justify not paying the correct monthy amount.
wf has still not replied to kicking our front gate in, but the fellow who did has been made 'redundant!'.:T

    LOL a lot!. :rotfl:
I bet seeing the size of you made him think twice, did he run back to the office telling tales about this 'big man' scaring him??
the one that kicked our gate out was like a weasel, his mate was tall, i'm omly 5'3'' but not easily intimidated and stood my ground.
The language over the phone from him was ripe, but he stuttered a lot when I told him I had reported him to TS and the police.
Have you heard anymore from your solicitor?
