Thanks you lovely people. I went to bed really early last night as I had an asthma attack that knocked the stuffing out of me. I am fine now I have thest attacks about twice a year and did not have any ventolin.
Thanks for your concern and thanks Tim for the pm sorry I didn't reply fell asleep with the computer on for about 3 hours.

Still haven't gone to the police but will do later today, had to take the car in to be repaired. Taffy

lol bubbles I feel a lot better already it's good to have a laugh. You are right about the car and everything else. Had to fill out some forms too today for 2 disabled ex neighbours and it seemed to take all day. No time to just chill out. Ach it doesn't seem so overwhelming any more you win some you lose some. Thanks for your concern tho.

Thanks for your concern Tim. I am afraid I have had multiple appointments today opticians etc and have not got around to the police. I will do it tomorrow. I do not think there is much hope now and I still haven't heard anything at all from Paypal. At least I have come to accept the inevitable now and it really has made it easier to be able to talk on here and have all you kind people give me your views and expertise. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. I feel much better now. It is as if I am reading someone else's thread and feel sorry for them lol.

You need to phone Paypal ASAP, and also make going to the police a priority.

Hi all,
I called the seller today on the mobile number given and there was no answer. I left a message saying that I had just printed out all the correspondence from him and myself with his address and telephone number and was going to the police within the hour. He phoned back about 10 minutes later and said he was just in from Spain and could understand my concern. He said he was going to the post office to post the item and I said the post office would not take such items. He called back to say I was right that the post office would not take it and he was getting in touch with a courier. He called me back wth a tracking number and said he had contacted a courier and would be picked up on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. He gave me the tracking number and said it was with parcel force.
I told him that I thought it was a scam and he was very apologetic saying he could understand my concern but his brother was supposed to do it for him. He gave me a tracking number but I cannot find it on line. I phoned up parcel force and they said it did sound like a right number for them but it takes about 2 hours to show on line. He sounded considerate and genuine but then scam artists normally are don't you think?
What do you all think?
I don't know but hope springs eternal. Well will go to the police anyway now. Will let you all know when I am afloat on my new mattress and bedding. Keep you all in suspense lol.
If I see thetracking on the internet do you think it is genuine then as he will have had to pay for it right? or wrong I do not know much about all this stuff as you can tell. Never mind I have had some great deals on here and on ebay and I am a winner never mind what. Why do I have to phone paypal Tim will they do anything else? They probably have 100s of these to deal with every day, why would they give mine priority?

glad to hear things are looking up..... i guess you'll be checking the parcel force website every ten minutes! i really hope this guy is just an idiot and not a scammer (but what a total idiot with the way this has been handled!). i guess you have until tuesday to see if he's genuine! can you contact him to ask for something in writing about it all?
