    Hello everyone :hello:

Had quite a productive day today so feeling tired but pleased. Having sat down to read the thread I've just realised i've only had 2 cups of tea today  will make that my next job ;)

Been to Morrisons this morning with DD2 whinging all the way round :( and tried really hard to reduce the spend but only managed to get it about £5 cheaper than last week humf! Having said that I did buy a fair bit of meat which I portioned up and stuck in the freezer so there's more than a weeks worth really.

Been into town for nappies and to pay a cheque in, and been to the library to photocopy the stuff for DD1's school appeal form so should be able to get it sent off this weekend. Fingers crossed that a) they don't arrange the appeal hearing for the one week in the last 3 years we'll actually be on holiday and b) she gets into the decent school before I give myself and ulcer stressing about it!

Got my friend coming to see us tomorrow and i'm really looking forward to it. We only get to see her a few times a year so it's always a treat :) but i've got to give the house a good clean tonight once the girls are in bed. I'll treat her to a batch of Twinks hobnobs too :D

    Anyway, time for that cuppa..........:D

hi everyone, just a quick one from me as my thesis is eating my sanity at the moment and I need to knuckle down and finish the chapter 6 experimental by the end of the day *shudders* sooooo bored.... please send chocolate :)

had a nice night out last night, didn't stay for drinks afterwards as I was so tired. Dinner is pasta (probably) or lentil dahl depending on how early I get home. It's amazing how sitting at a computer can be so tiring! I'll be working tomorrow, which will annoy OH but needs must.

    have a good afternoon/evening everyone, cel x

    Hey PenPin

Glad to see you posting and glad you have been not too bad today. My friend is terminally ill with cancer but she is such an inspiration when she came down to see me last night. I feel humble that I have reasonable health. I cry when she goes as she is I think stronger than I could ever be in that situation.

Kyle glad to hear DH has had the pack. Worth it - your Mum updated me the other night with a pm as I was out of the loop. How is your ear today?

Love and hugs to everyone else.

    hi all

had a terrible afternoon, had to have my little jack russel put to sleep as he had chronic cushings disease and a possible liver tumour. He was only 6 and had been poorly for few weeks but you still dont expect it do you.

Good afternoon to you all. I must confess that I am an imposter and am not "anniestar" I have the great joy (or so I am told) to be married to Ann so that makes me mr anniestar I guess. Well my dearly beloved is currently tucked up in bed rather poorly. She has been fretting and asking for the laptop but then getting fustrated that she can't use it. She went away for the weekend, had a great time, then came down with a rather nasty bug. Was quite worried as she has been recovering from a nasty bout of shingles(I assume she has told you that) Took her to the docs and she is back on tablets as the lurgy has setteled on her chest(it drives her mad that despite never smoking she always gets a bad chest) I promised Ann I would report and send her best wishes to you. I have to confess I have been given a cast of millions to say hi to, send hugs to and generally pass stuff on to but I can't find the list Sorry. Please consider yourself hugged etc. I am very well trained and hope this is ok. Ann ha sa number of Private messages showing but as they are just that I will tell her about them but NOT open htem. If you are waiting for her to reply to you and she hasn't done so this is why. I hope this is ok and that you are all well and don't mind an interloper. Kind regards, M.
Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

Good afternoon all - What a day Ive had!

Just Back in from work and after spending 2 1/2 hours in the CAB & spending £3 on car park fees . Still non-the-wiser what my rights are, and sadly, after speaking with energy watch again, it looks like I have to pay the ruddy thing   however, Ive been told that the bill will be reduced from £342.70 by £92 whoo hoo!

PenPin - I had a £10 voucher a while ago from ebay, so I brought a dog guard with it. Sadly it came damaged so had to be returned. Its nice to receive little gifts like this!
Taplady - thats awfull, Im so sorry, I know how you feel when I had to have my best persian put to sleep last yr, I was distraught. We brought a lovely plaque and OH chose some loving/moving words to be engraved, and it currently sits in the garden.

OH at work till 7pm, kids are with their dad till 8.30pm, so Its nice to have some me time!!!

Im going to put the kettle on now, and veg out!
    Have a great weekend
    Love Emma xxx

    Oh dear Taplady.

Sorry your wee dog. Friends of ours have a beautiful JR and have recently got a rescue one. A truly wonderful breed.

    Take care.
