    morning all,

Beautiful day here, hope its nice for the weekend, off to w**k again today, but only till 2 then I'm off till next wednesday.

DD went to rounders club after school last night, she had a PE lesson yesterday morning, rounders at lumchtime, then again after school, she has no time to eat anything but a museli bar and a yogurt so was starving when she got in, and very tired  .

Oh has another driving lesson, will hopefully be doing his test soon :T .

We have salmon with pasta, and hollandaise sauce tonight, which is always lovely, so looking forward to that.

Sainsbugs delivery last night came with 12 posh loo rolls that we did not order or pay for, so that was bonus :T

News on nephew is that his mother is now kicking up a stink and wants him home  , she never lookes after him, and he wander the streets all night, hopefully the courts will stand in, he loves it where he is, my sister visited, and he proudly showed her his bedroom, and he said 'look aunte Jo, I have a matress and duvet' , he does not have a matress at home, just sleeps on the wodden slats. ( I musy say at this point that he has a learning difficulty, and loves having new things) I so hope he does not go home.

Thanks for posting smoky, hugs to you all xx

Ausie Hope DGS is not up all night for you :D:D:D:D:p

    Have good days all xx

morning everyone. thoughts for those with worries of all kinds. special mention of Smokybabe - take a day at a time. work sound so supportive and I hope you can get something sorted. the kids will appreciate a "normal" routine, but only when you have the strength to go on. take care.

this week for me has been a roller coaster of a week. had to deal with both son and daughter's relationships breaking down. Mum had a fall, had check up in casualty but she's fine. But then I have ended on a high note. I bored you all stupid with my woes about an essay I was writing a few weeks back.....well I got a C3 which is a bit of a scrape...but its a pass. So it means I graduate next month :)

will do some food shopping on the way home for tea, might have a little treat or two to cheer us all up.

    Morning All!
First (((((((HUGS))))))))))) to anyone who needs them.

Smokey I think rearranging things can help. My dad is doing this, after Mamma. He's changed furniure round and got rid of a lot, so it feels different, and he doesn't get so sad now, the house hasn't got the same memories everywhere he looks. It doesn't mean he's forgotten my Mamma, but it means he can live easier.

Had a good day yesterday, cleaned the whole house, so I feel virtuous today. :rotfl: Anyway I can't do too much two days running, or I'll be ill again.

Mioliere you can get Love Hearts pprinted with abything you want at www.lovehearts.com I'm going to get some for DD.:T

Going to meet DD today. I need to get some glucosamine for the joints. Holland & Barrat have a sale on at the mo, will go in there.

    Have a good day all.:T

Hi - it's me again! AUSSIE - can you point me in the direction of the recipe for your Savoury Impossible Pie, please, please, pleeeeeease? I can't find my copy ANYWHERE and I've looked high and low for it:confused: . I know the coconut one off by heart because we have it so often so it's just the savoury one I need. I just know you won't let me down! I'll wait until morning - I don't expect you to stay awake to do it if you should be in bed getting your beauty sleep (that will start HARIBO off now, won't it?!)

HILSTEP - just found your link to the Love Hearts - that's just what I need! Thank you so so much!

Morning all :) Hope the weather near you is as nice as it is here - for once it isn't raining :j

dogrose - Congrats on passing your essay. I went back to college last year so know exactly how you must feel :)

In work today :( but will be off for the long bank holiday weekend after that so can't complain too much. My oh is off work today and is still snoring in bed which made it that little bit harder to get up this morning! I have a thumping headache and I think I'm getting a cold because I feel achy and shivery too but I'll stop whining now :p

Hope you all have a fab day :)

    Good morning all

TGIF Another rollercoaster week here too. The good news is that my mum's bout of radiotherapy for her lung cancer has finally kicked in so her breathing is a lot better and she is a lot happier!! The not so good news is that my DIL is still having problems with her pregnancy. They did tests yesterday and she is losing fluid round the baby and the placenta is not working 100% so she may have to have a C-section around 30 weeks which is quite worrying. Fingers crossed that she can keep going a few more weeks at least.

Redruby, hugs to your nephew, having to sleep on slats, thats absolutely disgraceful, she really doesnt deserve children, as you say.

Well, I don't work on Mondays so Bank Holidays just mean a house full instead of a nice peaceful day, but I am sure we will find something to do or somewhere to go as the weather looks as though its going to be fairly reasonable.

Finish work at 12 today then have to wait in for gas man as our central heating timer has gone up the wall and he is coming to replace it. Woke up aboaut 4am the other morning to find the central heating was on and the bedroom was like a sauna, phew. Washing is on the line and another load on as I speak.

Hugs to all who need them. Have a good day everyone bye:hello:

    Morning all,

Lovehearts with your choice of lettering...hmm what an idea....

Bright and sunny here...perfect camping weather...

Really need to do some studying today as I didn't do much when I was away camping (too wet and cold) - I was optimistically thinking it would be dry and warm at night....really not that bright sometimes am I?

Got an interview this afternoon for a job I've only known about since 4pm yesterday...recruitment agents are great like that! Especially when they say "learn as much as you can about the company" - thank goodness for the internet...how would we manage without?

Also need a haircut now so that's job number one for this morning, after putting out the green bins, the bottles & can box and the paper bin, which is what I'm doing next before the 8am collection.

Bumped into my uncle last night who became a priest after my auntie died and it was good catching up on old times....we've really let the family thing slip over the last 10 years or so and I'm wondering if that is something that everyone's experienced...how can we have improved communications and yet speak to our nearest and dearest less than ever?

Right, bins time! Hugs to all who like them and best wishes to all anyway...
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007
