    Mornin all

Beeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaautiful day here :D sun shining, clear blue skies, french doors open already! Ahhh if only i knew what to do with my soggy, lumpy, weedy back garden it would be perfect :o New build house and no landscaping done whatsoever. Also no money whatsoever in our budget to spend on the garden at the moment  OH joked last night that it might all be weeds but they are our weeds and he loves 'em :rotfl: Am tending to think he is saying that so i wont nag him to get out there and do some gardening

Right, must move lots to do. Like put the kettle on :D was going to go food shopping and nip over to w**k but the car is playing up and OH took it to the garage this morning so i have shopped online (delivered tomorow) and will have no excuse not to spend a bit of time typing up an essay seeing as i am at a loose end!

Have a good day, catch you later

    Good Morning All

Just did a post & lost it

(((hugs))) to smokey, PP & Mrs-mix
moiliere - my boss had some love hearts printed for her wedding. She got them from the same site as Hillstep mentioned.

Calmed down from y-day. Despite me spending 50mins on the phone to energy watch, the problem has yet to be resolved. I hope to get into the CAB later after work. At least my complaint has been logged with energy watch & I can ring back in 2 wks if not sorted. Thanks Pen Pen & Twink!

Mum received her foster cat y-day from the CPL. Dont know how long she has her for. She has 1 eye & a heart problem, but full of life & energy.

Hope to do a car boot tomorrow, if weather stays dry!

    Right best be off
    Have a great day
    Love Emma xxx

  • Hi all, sunny here at the moment. I have a load of towels in the WM so I'm hoping it stays dry.

Quiet day planned at Flitter Towers, last day of peace before the BH weekend and everyone's at home. Hoping to join the throngs at a garden centre over the w/e to pick up a few bits and pieces as I have baby veggie plants to put in but am hoping that won't take too long (I have major aversion to crowds).

Otherwise I shall just enjoy being at home with OH and DD.

Hugs to Smokey, PP, Kyle (hope your ear is better) and anyone else in need.

Oh, nearly forgot, my muffins and twinks hobnobs went down a storm at OH's office yesterday- I got loads of compliments (thanks twink ;) ) on them but OH apparently got into trouble for not having baked them himself - apparently it's counted as 'cheating' to have me do them - I think it was more a safety precaution really, he's never baked a cake in his life and I wasn't about to let him waste a pile of expensive ingredients. So I won't win the competition but I'm basking in reflected glory anyway :rotfl:

    Have a great day everyone

    Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is okay, but sending hugs to you all anyway!

I have been disgusting this morning and had left over spag bol for brekkie! After the fuss I made that DD should have something decent for brekkie and that popcorn didn't count!

DD and I are off to the city (the shopping centre) to see what is up there (cos it might of changed since we last went) and we are even going to have lunch up there!

    Byeeeee!

    Hi All

Bank holiday weekend has started early for me, no work until Tuesday :D:D:D

Smokey, it was lovely to see your posts, be kind to yourself and trust your instincts ((((hugs))))

My day off would be better if I wasn't sat here wrapped in a duvet with a large box of tissues, waiting for the dose of daynurse I took earlier to kick in! I wanted to blitz the bedroom today as I seem to have all of my winter clothes and half of my summer clothes out and there just isn't room in the tiny wardrobe and drawers for both lots to be out at once! It is one very big untidy mess in there! I'll have to see if my tissue usage leaves room for cleaning...

Last weekend some idiot tried to snatch my bag while I was walking home from the tube station after a night out. He didn't get the bag but he did get the business end of my 4" heels. When I went to report it to the police I discovered that I'd nothing to gain because I didn't need a crime number for insurance, but there was the slight possibility that I could face an assault charge for setting about him with my shoe!!! What about the bruising and shock I suffered??? That influenced my vote for London Mayor yesterday!

Coot chicks are hatching daily and all is well in the nest at the moment, no more nasty incidents. My new feeder (it sticks on the window) and a trial pack of live food arrived so I'll sort those out this weekend. I'm hoping to get good views of the local chaffinches and tits, they are buzzing about all over the place just now icon7.gif

Benthosboy, I envy you your owl sighting, owls are such majestic birds. And Loraine, I'm looking forward to updates about your hedgehog. :T

Need more tissues, Hugs to all who could use one (hugs, not tissues  icon7.gif) .
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Hello all !

Today I'm using up the last bit of the hairdressers voucher OH got me for christmas............having facial, lipwax,(ouch !!), eyebrow shape and hairdio:j
Then collect bus ticket to go to see Mum next Tuesday (back Wednesday night), collect prescription -daren't go anywhere without it, and get wrapping paper - Mum's friends birthday and if she could she'd have bought her something so I've raided my supply of charity shop christmas basket bargains and made a card on her behalf as well.
Might even buy myself some nail varnish.............lol Having a manicure the other week as part of OH's voucher made me realise I ought to make a bit more effort !

Have a good day and hugs ((((((((((:o ))))))))) to those who need them
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

When I read about the boy sleeping on wooden slats my blood boiled for him.
I hope he is able to stay where he is safe and looked after.

Had a mad rush this morning helping DD sort out ingredients for a risotto as it is cookery today at school!

Two loads of washing are out on the line and DDs PE kit is in a wash of its own as it looks as if she has been mud wresting in it!

The home made bread rolls were popular yesterday and DD has apparently been boasting at school that her bread roll for lunch was "home made"!

Will put another batch of dough in the BM later after having a cup of tea.

Not sure what to cook tonight as weather might be too warm to really enjoy soup.

Might do a spag bol or else a Spanish omelet or somehing.

Hugs to all and see you later.
