I've now updated my sig after shopping at the beginning of the month. Since then I've only had to buy some milk, so pretty pleased so far. Ate quite a lot of salad this weekend as we were given some lettuces and salad leaves, which was lovely. Made some HM burgers for the first time, which everyone enjoyed. Spent a lot of today weeding the veg patch, planting the tomotoes out and sorting out my chilli plants. Looks like I'll have at least 15 chilli plants growing!! Not sure what I'll do with them all:o0

bargain rz you know you said about the sainsburys reductions do you know what time that is? I have one very close by and have not seen them that cheap before, well yes once when this lady was filling her baskets with the reductions on cakes and we argued because she would not even leave me one pack for the kids and she had about 30 of them:rolleyes:0

Hi all
Busy day as back to the dreaded w@#* tomorrow.
Large HM loaf and 4 rolls, veggie soup, braised beef for another day, coleslaw for tea or something.
DH came home from pub with 3 chicken carcasses from their yesterdays lunch-have we no shame ! 4 large portions of delish chicken stock and nearly a pound of meat, suitable for curry or sarnies!! Good NSD.(Cook is a friend!)
Cleaned shed out, loads of rubbish for collection tomorrow. Also been to bottle bank and got rid of all the lidless jars or those that are too big for jam/chutneys etc.,very sad as there were only 3 alcohol bottles out of a bootfull of recyclble(spell?)
catch up with you all in a while
j
PS had porridge for b'fast made with water and some of the runny yogurt-not too bad:rotfl:You can't stay young for ever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life.0
