    After you have rolled out the dough spread on the marg/butter, sprinkle the fruit and sugar onto the dough and roll up like a swiss roll. Then cut into pinwheels about 1 inch wide and put into a tin on edge. If you keep then about 1/2 inch appart they and let them rise and they will join up. Then bake.

    Well after a having come in way below last month.. I've lost the plot this month must be up to over £400:eek:
    I need to learn to batch cook for the warmer months.
    Not getting the hang of it at all for the warmer weather.
    Mind you took several months to get the hang of winter cooking, so my the end of the summer I should know what I'm doing:rolleyes: just in time for autumn!

    Going to put my budget back up to £350 to make me feel better for next month whilst still practicing:o

    Sorry, I forgot to say that we usually spend about £65 per week now and ideally I would like to reduce it to about £45 and of couse still eat healthily.

    I am including all cleaning things and toiletries and milk etc.

    We shop mainly in Sainsburys and every few week buy some things in Marks and Spencer. ...

    I will have read of this thread now to get some good ideas.

    £164.77 as a final for me. Hard work but got there ( ok I did cheat with £10 worth of vouchers :D )
