Sorry forgot to ask this question -
Have made a few loaves in the new car boot sale breadmaker but although the first one was perfect, the next two have risen, then the top has collapsed. Although they taste fine and the bread is usable it's an odd shape!Any suggestions as to what is wrong with the mixture?

I've had this happen to me a cople of times. My BM manual said that the problem is too much yeast added to the mix. It suggests reducing the aount of yeats by 1/4 tsp or adding more sugar.
It only seems to happen when I make wholemeal bread, and only with asda yeast. Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0 -
This is the photo of my biscuits made this evening, I found along with the spoon idea for the roundness the fairy cake tin that I have put in the photo so you can see what I mean does an excellent job , non stick so does not need grease proof paper or greasing, plop them in and they come out like the photo, great tin:D I made 37:D0 -
shaz mum 2 I copied your cinammon and lemon extract for the biscuits but not the raisins as did not understand whether you had omitted the oats and added the raisins or done both?

Procrastinator - I haven't ever made soup in a slow cooker. Got a big stock pot that I normally do large batches in. Mascarpone normally goes in at the end, yesJonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

This is a recipie from a baby mag, but should be ok for adults. I'm plannning on trying it next month.
200g pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion chopped
1 garlic clove
400g passata
1/4 tsp sugar
2 tbsp basil
75g marscarpone
salt & pepper to taste
cook pasta
saute onion in olive oil until soft
add garlic and saute for another minute
stir in passata & sugar, season to taste & cover
simmer gently for ~ 10 mins
remove from heat, add basil & blend
return to pan, add marscarpone. Stir until melted & simmer for 1 - 2 mins
add the pasta
This is freezable and apparently makes 4 portions, but as i said, this is from a baby mag so the portions are probably small.

This looks good I might have to change a couple of things as I don't have any passata or basil at the mo. I was going to do leek and potato soup but not sure how much mascarpone to put in it or wether I can do it in the slow cooker tomorrow before work. Maybe I can do both?
Will let you know how I get on.
Many thanks.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
