Joning in the Twinks discussion, has anyone tried choc chips (bashed choc hehe) in the mix?

I did this adding the [strike]bashed choc[/strike] choc chips ;) to the dry mix, I then poured in the hot melted butter mix and all the choc melted  should have realised that would happen! doh! They were still really yummy though :p

    Thanks ifonlyitwaseasier and Victory...

Don't knock your losses they are brilliant :T I no doubt started of heappppps heavier than the 2 of you... I started out at 21st not sure if :o or  is most appropriate :rotfl: ... so another 3.5lbs and i will have lost 1/3 of my body weight :p but still have enough left to work on. Still doing it using no "diet" products and going OS is quite a nice way to be doing it ..and at least i KNOW that i can carry on eating this way for the rest of my life ..thank god...
keep up the great work ladies..we are getting there..just think ... cheap clothing...ooooooh the excitement :rotfl:

I think you're all doing great. I managed to lose 4 1/2 stone last year. I hit my target of a size 12. :T Only problem was, the week later, i found out ds was on the way, so now I have a stone & half to go until I can fit into my nice clothes again.

    He was worth it though.
Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j

Searching_me I'm so sorry for you. I can't begin to imagine what it would be like to be in your and your DH's position as we have never experienced such a sad misfortune. We hope that you are both being very strong and heeding all the advice that the dear ladies have given you, and a great big:grouphug: from DW and me. Also commiserations to the others suffering in the last couple of weeks.

Got the delivery from Mr W on Wednesday and it came to £75 which was not bad as once upon a time (in a a previous life) we wouldn't have got much change out of a £100 note . Ah! how times change!!
We don't use Mr W very often but as DS3 is away I thought we deserved a treat.

Have caught up with most of the posts (some great recipes there, keep them coming girls) but to those that I haven't thanked "THANKS"

Times up, so I'm afraid so have to go. Will update siggie tomorrow.

    Love the FM

shaz mum 2 I copied your cinammon and lemon extract for the biscuits but not the raisins as did not understand whether you had omitted the oats and added the raisins or done both?

angel how did the eggless cake with soya flour come out? Where do they sell soya flour went to asda and Sainsburys but they have not got any, much be a health food shop like holland and barrett?

Didnt like it so much with the soya as it looked rather uneven on the top and it still cracked so Im back to the original eggless recipe without the soya flour. Im going to try it with vinegar some time-I did this years ago and it was fine. Sya flour is available in places such as Holland and Barrat or any health food store and is about £1.20 for a 500g bag(but I wouldnt bother)
