The Seller is out of order!
There was no 'problem' with me or my payment.
Ebay allow 7 days for payment, the Seller should not have sent the email to me in the first place.
If the Seller wanted immediate payment then that should have been on the BIN - and it wasn't.
In my reply I did say that buyer was acting naively.
If the e-mail had been along the lines of "I expected you to pay immediately, now I will file a NPB and neg you" THAT would have been out of order.
I don't know why you are getting excited over 1 polite e-mail
Maybe I took your OP wrong but you said you tried to pay immediately but couldn't as PP wanted a number you are waiting to get. To me that's a problem. You could have quickly e-mailed the seller to let them know you would pay when you had the number.
We don't have any info about the seller at all, are they new and not sure of etiquette? ie that a buyer has 7 days to pay and BIN doesn't automatically mean immediate payment.....maybe they have been messed about before with NPB on BIN items and wanted to make sure you were going to pay at all?
This isn't the only thread on this board lately that has made me think that there are way too many mountains made out of molehills.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
to be fair i wouldnt expect an email the day after winning an auction or BIN pushing for payment
eg i sometimes bid via pda but leave payment as its a pain navigating through the pages on the small screen
Neither would I but would it really bother you?:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

The Seller has sent me this email this morning -
hi there,
i sent you an invoice on Monday but am still waiting for payment, have checked messages and emails but have had no response from you. i wouldn't normally be pushy about payment if the item had been auctioned but as it was "buy it now" i did expect immediate payment, especially as the cardigan had seven watchers on it and may very well have sold for a lot more.
If she wanted more money for it why did she put it on a BIN in the first place?
Tell her she's a stupid plank because it couldn't have possibly sold for more if she had it on a BIN :rolleyes:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
If the seller wanted more then they should have placed it at auction with reserve.
I got tucked up myself so dont feel too bad. They sold as new, postage paid and when it was delivered was charged an extra £1.06 for a used item.
Left NICE feed back to them.... lol...
You did your part by emailing and explaining the situation. You can only do what paypal or ebay allow you to do at their speed.

To be honest, it annoys me when someone does a B.I.N and doesn't pay that day.....after all, it is called by it NOW, not Buy it TOMORROW...
Really it would've taken no trouble to email her and explain...
Quite likely a new seller....can we all remember how impatient we were in the early daysNever put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0 -

I wish people would READ posts instead of jumping to conclusions.
I did email her.
If I had paid her by p/o or cheque she wouldn't have been paid immediately anyway. In the case of a cheque it might even have been over 7 days before the post office delivered the letter, the Seller takes it to the bank and then the days it takes to clear a cheque.
The Seller is not new, she has 500 + feedback and 99% positive.
The item was £11.99 plus p&p. The starting bid was 99p0 -
OP, I think a lot of people here would appreciate it if you posted your ebay username so we can block you.
Thanks!
Thank you!!
Most Sellers on Ebay are genuine, honest and follow ebay rules
I am guessing that you are one of those Buyers/Sellers who want it all THEIR way and not ebay's way0 -

just a little reminder of some of your other threads regarding ebay
Have Had Enough of Ebay
Fed up of Ebay Buyers
Problem with a Buyer
Fed up of Ebay Sellers
Paypal Dispute
Idiot Buyers
don't take this the wrong way but if it really is that bad don't do it i have been on ebay since i left the army nearly 4 years ago and havn't had anywhere near as many problems you have had in the last 6 months
i am sure i will get slated for this but are you just after the attention or do you not communicate with the buyer or seller before things start to get difficult?
i am not trying to be horrible or anything but there is a pattern in all your threads that to me seems that something is going wrong somewhere and its always someone elses fault
I have bought and sold on ebay for 8 years.
In the last few months the standard of the attitude of the buyers has deteriorated dramatically.
On the whole the Sellers are not too bad.
I am not the only one complaining on these issues either and I will not be made a scapegoat.
The issues I have had with two buyers and one Seller are not my fault - my communication skills are just fine and I have kept the Buyer/Seller informed all the way through.
