imho i think you are after the attention as anyone who remotely disagrees with you is in the wrong and you don't like fair critisismCute_n_Quirky wrote: »I have bought and sold on ebay for 8 years.
In the last few months the standard of the attitude of the buyers has deteriorated dramatically.
On the whole the Sellers are not too bad.
I am not the only one complaining on these issues either and I will not be made a scapegoat.
The issues I have had with two buyers and one Seller are not my fault - my communication skills are just fine and I have kept the Buyer/Seller informed all the way through.
the truth hurts sometimes but learn to live with it as you can't go through life not being wrong (except you it seems) read some of your own threads http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?searchid=260707210 -
Cute n Quirky - I think you did the right thing in letting the seller know. According to what you've posted I think you have acted appropriately all the way down the line.
Personally, I'd pay it off as soon as possible because that way it would be finished with, but you can make the call on that
I just had a reminder for payment after seven days, and I think I was nice (my reply was late at night) pointing out instant payment by paypal and the transaction number. Got a lovely reply back - not all ebayers are numpties.
Good luck.Always another chapter0 -

I did email her.
I think the point is that you didn't e-mail her about your payment problem until after she got in touch with you, and only then no doubt because it annoyed you so much.
It would have taken seconds on the Monday to e-mail her once you realised you couldn't pay.
I know buyers have 7 days to pay but you obviously wanted to pay immediately and couldn't. A quick e-mail and you wouldn't be stressing over something so very minor.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Was you thinking about this transaction when you stated the above? :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
because if you convert them to deals, the value multiplies by 4!! so really quite a good deal if you ask me!lostcrusader wrote: »Just wondering why anyone would pay £62 for £28 worth of tesco vouchers. I wonder if free postage was provided...... :rotfl:
wow this thread is getting ugly though..... seems a nasty trend on this board of late.:happyhear0 -

I agree with you and hold my hands up to say I am sometimes one of those who have added to the ugliness, not in a nasty way though I must say. Trouble is its impossible to put tone into a post and they usually read alot worse than you intend them to.
I will say though that its very frustrating when a buyer/seller comes on moaning about something that is either....
a) a problem of their own making (thinking about a different thread)
b) something that really isn't a problem but they blow it out of all proportion and make it a problem
....they ask for help and advice but when they don't hear what they want to hear they get defensive and sometimes very rude. You try to look at it from the other persons POV but the thread starter always comes up with an excuse to defend their actions. Why bother posting if you aren't willing to look at it from all sides and take on board the advice given
Alot of OP's have already made up their minds about a situation long before they post about it on here....so why bother posting at all?
If people can't accept that they won't always hear what they want to then IMO they should stop posting on a public forum.
Sorry rant over :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
This is just so trivial. Why not just communicate in a friendly way with the seller?
Personally all my BINs require immediate payment - maybe the seller forgot to tick the box - whatever - just communicate with each other and be nice!0
