Sold a skirt on Ebay for £3 - brand new with tags, mind you.
Listed as blue, cream, lemon, white with photos.
Buyer paid on 25th June.
Buyer sent me a bolshy email along the lines of, 'bought one of these from you last week and it had yellow in it, this one hasn't, I want a replacement'.
I emailed Buyer and said I am only a private seller having a clearout, that is the only skirt I have of that pattern/design/colour/size. Also that she was obviously confusing my sale with someone else's.
Buyer sends another email. 'oh well, if you deliberately don't want to understand then I am not going to leave feeback because all you will do is neg me'
Total silence until yesterday. Buyer left feedback - positive feedback with no message.
So, yes, I negged her - her emails were bolshy and atrocious.
She sent an email saying that if I didn't remove the neg within 48 hours she would open an item not as described dispute with paypal.
All over £3 - you can clearly see the lemon in the photos of the skirt - but she is adamant it has no 'yellow' in it.
Have reported this to both ebay and paypal. Sent the Buyer an email which says - 'you have now broken Ebay's t&c's', nothing else.
Oh, and Buyer, V, if you are reading this, I hope you feel suitably ashamed of yourself.
Should I just refund her £3, without p&p and let her get on with it? Or should I just wait and see what happens?

Thanks!
Will ebay or paypal do anything about her threats?0 -
probably not, the threats aren't serious in any way.
my mate had a follow up left on his feedback, a positive he received was followed up with Terrorist! Avoid! after he negged the seller and ebay did nothing.0 -

They might do but won't tell you of the outcome. Data protection or something!
I would also be inclined to let her start a dispute if that's what she wants. You've not got the risk of a neg heading your way!
If she does a dispute and you lose at least you made it as awkward as possible for her to get her money back!0 -

It's a real pity that some people have negative experiences with Ebay and it switches them off to Ebay. I can understand why and I'm not saying it's wrong - everyone goes by their own experience. But there are thousands of transactions every day and the huge majority go without a hitch or a problem.
I've bought and sold cds, dvds, books, cameras, memory cards, computer parts and other odds and ends. My feedback is at around 210 with only one negative so i know most of the time ebay is ok.
It's a shame because there are some tremendous bargains to be had.

No I have no threat of a neg - as I said in my OP she left positive feedback with no message. I have already negged her!0 -

I have 1300 feedback on two accounts, with only 1 neg between them. I still think that Ebay is fabulous!
Whilst the threat is nothing much really, it falls under the feedback blackmail category which Ebay should do something about.0 -
Just got this from paypal -
