Idiot Buyers

  • Tell the buyer to wise up over £3, she was lucky that you were selling it and listed it correctly, dont let the seller get to you, you are in the right not the seller. Good Luck incase the seller decides to mess about with item not the same thing and try to get their money back.

How can they let that go on without intervention???:confused::confused::mad:

they said feedback is a member to member platform and it was best if they didint intervene, or something to that affect! my mate is really cross, i mean REALLY :mad::mad::mad::mad:, he only has a rating of 3, poor chap, and this terrorist comment sticks out like a giraffe's neck!
  • Cute'n' Quirky, if your buyer pursues an item not as described dispute, even if Paypal find in her favour she would be required to return the skirt via trackable means at her own expense to be entitled to a refund. Let her. I'm guessing she probably won't want to pay the postage to return a £3 skirt.

It's a real pity that some people have negative experiences with Ebay and it switches them off to Ebay. ..It's a shame because there are some tremendous bargains to be had.
    I agree with you darich.

I have 100% feedback from 260 ebayers on about 480 transactions. I have had a few problems but most of them have been resolved simply and easily by communicating with the other party.

I have picked up lots of bargains and I have sold some of my own unwanted stuff for reasonable money.

Whenever I want or need to buy something, ebay is the first place that I look.

I hope I don’t speak too soon. I paid for an item yesterday and today the seller is NARU. Oh well, it was only £7. :D

Tell your friend to stop being cross and laugh about it.

That negative won’t put off sensible buyers.

He can either carry on and wear his “terrorist” negative with pride or, as he only has 3 transactions, he can close that account and start again with a new ID. :)

Total silence until yesterday. Buyer left feedback - positive feedback with no message.

I'd would have left it at that, you got the money and +ve feedback. :)

Perhaps the item wasn't quite what she had hoped it was. So, she got a little bit angry.

So, yes, I negged her - her emails were bolshy and atrocious.

Nahhhh, forgive and forget, makes life a whole lot easier sometimes.

I would just let her do what she wants - if she wants to start a dispute then she can, but as previous poster says if she wins she would have to return the item to you by a trackable means so it probably really isnt worth the hassle for her

If I were you I would stick to my guns and not give her a refund or do anything. Leave it to the powers that be

  • She got what she deserved. I'm of the firm belief that good manners cost abslutely nothing. Anyone sending rude and bolshie e-mails deserves to be negged. Let her open a dispute. Having to deal with Paypal/Ebay will just wind her up (they wind me up) so that will be extra punishment. Maybe it will teach her some manners.
  • It was the attitude that got to me really. She opened with an attack that I had sold her the same skirt a week earlier and that I had not sent out the same item the second time.
I sent an email explaining that she must have got me mixed up with another Seller - was very light-hearted about it.
That was when she started accusing me of all sorts - trying to rip her off, listing an item incorrectly, etc, etc.
She never asked for a refund at all, just said that she wouldn't be leaving any feedback for me.

Then she did - four weeks later - maybe she had hoped that I had forgotten?

You don't forget folks like that in a hurry.

A little manners do go a long way.
