redflag.gifHAPPY BIRTHDAY MISSYGparty.gifforyou.gifband.gif cheerleader3.gif. Glad the sun is shining for you and hope you got your dress and the 'perfect' 8.0 for your annual weigh in:D .
I'm just back from taking part in the medical schools final exams: very interesting experience. One chap did a very good assessment but at the end pronounced I had something completely different. Oh dear, I think he'll be resitting. Another was so stressed out he could barely mumble a coherant sentance. The rest all did a jolly good job though. I didn't resist the food they had laid on though dispite my best of attentions...
WI today Ooh I was tempted to not quite tell the truth but I must: 1lb on please efrieze. I'm not suprised - On Sunday I had lost another lb but have put 2 back on since then through eating too much. I've just felt very tired and unpleasantly hungry and needed food just to keep going. I guess it will always be like this, so just need to be vigulant on the days I can, to balance those when I just can't. A bit disappointed. But the fab news is that MR bb has lost another 3lbs this week , and has now reached his first half stone after 2 weeks on sw eating plan. He says he thinks he feels better for it already, which is great. I so hope so.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Happy Birthday Missy!
hope you have a fab day, buy lots of nice things and obviously get lots too!! xxxxx

Thanks for the good luck wishes everyone! We had 3 cruise ships come in today so it was very busy, i found myself repeating everything most of the time but it was really fun actually! Im there on my own on sunday so i have a big wad of stuff to learn on kent and how to get around it via bus/taxi and train. I think it will be more boring on sunday, but i gotta do what i gotta do for my future i guess!

The only problem with today is working tonight :( I took the stairs instead of the escalators today and avoided a bacon roll! I guess working tonight and this morning gets me moving a bit more exercise than what i would have been getting.

BB: one pound can be easily lost! You can loose that again, youre always going to flucturate a bit. Gotta enjoy life BB!

Claire1234: Welcome to the group! I love wii sports, you actually get a bit of a puff on doing boxing!! its quite good in that respect. Or maybe im just unfit ha! Good luck with loosing weight!

Happy anniversary of starting your healthy living plan, Missyg, and of course happy birthday too! :j :T :T :j

Vix, sounds like a good start -- 3 cruise ships! Any hunky rich unattached men looking for a granny to spend their money on? (Mr GN is a bit irritating now he's given up going to work. I'm prepared to swap him)

Reporting a 1lb loss please Efrieze. Was a 2lb loss but muesli attacked me, I think it got the idea from the jaffa cake marauders.

Fantastic losses this week and some very impressive STS, especially Dragon.

BB how could you resist whispering the answers to those poor doctors?

    Hello peeps :hello:

Trust you are al having a wonderful day, WELL DONE TO THOSE THAT HAVE MANAGED TO LOSE, I over done it on my treadmill yesterday, hardly slept last night due to a dull ache in both my knees, I've learned from it, I shall give it a rest for a couple of days.

Can I ask some questions re cooking please?

I made a fish pir today, however, the salmon had skin on it, I had a nightmare trying to get it off, is there an easy way, also, it has bones in, how do I take them out.

I made a sauce using milk, flour, butter, and pepper, is there anything else I need to add?

Not sure if I've cooked it correctly, we shall see when we try it later.

Tomorrow I'd like to have a go at making fruit muffins, does anyone have a recipe I can follow please?

Thanks for any help / advice.

Have a good day, and I'll pop back later.

    Hi 10past6

For fish pie you can poach the fish briefly first (especially if you are using haddock), then you flake the fish and it comes off the skin and the bones fairly easily

Way to go Efrieze! :T It's so brilliant you are being so active and that you feel in control of things, so pleased for you! :j
So, come on BB, did you strip for the med boys? ;) Great stuff Mr BB, well done you!
Welcome Claire, you've definitely come to the right place, great support and lots of laughs too. Remember you'll need to weigh at the same time each week for true results so pick a time you're happy with (it doesn't have to be today).

I wonder if Missy is buying the whole of Debenhams?:D
Glad your first day went well Vix, knew there was something I forgot to say earlier!

Thanks in advance for the chart Efrieze, much appreciated x
