Well done Missy, I certainly would not have the patience for your precision WL technique :T I think you'll really like Weezl's thread mentioned by FFM (I'm on there too), she's very like you and loves her figures and spreadsheets! For anyone who doesn't know, she's attempting a grocery budget of £120 for 3 months ( 2 people, includes everything!). It was she who inspired me to go nettle picking (been meaning to for ages) and I made a lovely nettle gnocchi, yum yum!
Just chowing down on a late lunch of HM bread and beautiful HM houmous with spinach (courtesy of Mr S but hopefully from the garden soon) - there's a lot to be said for this OS life! :D
Still not weighing (and loving it), Dad told me yesterday I was 'wasting away' which of course is completely untrue, just his way of commenting on any WL - in all honesty, it may well have been that I was simply not wearing my usual baggy clothes :D I did buy a pair of size 14 cords the other day and was very pleased they fit, simply because they were from a charity shop and were the only ones! So although I don't know how I'm actually doing from a numbers point of view, I feel pretty damn good as I am, which was just what I was hoping for!:j
Vix, you lucky girl! Now finish your work first - I'll come round a give Matt a game :D
Get well soon Dragon and Dr Dragon (what a cool name, he should change his by deed poll!). BB, when is Mr BB's WI? I know you said but I forgot, of course! Wish him luck from me. Well done Raph, the gym will make a difference again this week, hope the running club happens.

Well done on the wasting away bails! the only thing we have growing in the garden that we can harvest is some herbs (lots of flowers though!), although my tomato seedlings are doing well and hopefully next weekend I can pot them on!

Thanks for the good wishes bails - it looks as though the worst is over (DrDragon reached for a packet of crisps and I had to mention that keeping water down for more than a couple of hours does not mean you can instantly scoff what you want!)

bails - that is such good news re the not weighing and blooming on it :j . What a mega break through for you. And size 14 cordshyper.gif:D . Shows it's working in every way. We're planning on going foraging soon (maybe next weekend)for free food. What's gnochii?
Dragon - I won't be getting a wii anytime soon either.
Just bought a swede so I can do mashed swede later in the week.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Ha ha, how do you get the smiley on speed BB? Thankyou. Hm, gnocchi is a potato flour mixture, balls which you drop into boiling water and when they rise to the surface they're done. Like my technical explanation? :D First time I made them, the recipe I used is here, I did a tomato sauce rather than the blue cheese, not sure how they work on SW?
Dragon, I'll trade you some spinach for some herbs, only got chives here at the mo!

Bails: Nettle what! :p Theres a bloke in kent living off the fat of the land for a month. Piccking flowers and leaves to eat ect. Catching rabbits and all that. Grocery challenge beaten i think!

Matt hasnt set up the wii yet! even he isnt playing on it. Hes just starting to unpack the box though. woop.

Raph: We did have but ma and pa have been doing work on the pond and putting plants in. Our pond looks like 50 men have all ejaculated into it. White foam everywhere. Its pretty x rated i must say.

Dragon: You can sit down and play with it. All you need is an arm!

Good isn't it hyper.gif. I confess it's from my secret stash of smilies, not from MSE:D . Thanks for the recipe - I'll look it up. Many things can be sw modified. Edit: have now looked it up - looks fab. Have added to recipe favs.
Vix, choaked on my tea for a moment there:rotfl: . You are such a tonic and I bet you don't realise:A

Thanks everyone, but I can't take credit for the "system" I use as I got it all from t'internet, works for me, but all I've done is make a very basic spreadsheet to help interpret it :o The rest is just a food diary, much like anyone else's...!

Just realised my BMR will be decreasing in a week as it's partly age-based... that's 35 fewer calories I'll be allowed per week. Or 4 servings of jelly. Or a Ryvita. Or half a multigrain bar. Or a few nice sweeties

Congrats on the loss Raph! Very impressive as you were unable to keep up your exercise routine, that's great.

Bails your enthusiasm is shining through in your posts! Think you've hit on the right method for yourself there for sure!

    Vix :rotfl:

Done my day's workout, going to allow myself an extra snack now because... well, I'm bloomin' hungry!

I must say our family has a good laugh most nights at 6:30 listening to our rubbish news. We always laugh about how the ginger one (bev! just remembered) wears those horrible white trousers suits that are too short in the leg. Then theres the stories they report on!! Totally random and half of them arent even news. They also baffle on about how some woman in the war time mingled with movie stars, then the next story is how someone got murdered in kent or something. Totally bizarre.

Kaddy we always comment on her clothes, she has no dress sense what so ever. 4 different colours on with some that clash, boots with summer skirts.

I cant believe the BBC let them report like that! Even Chris moyles took the mick out of our news! well funny.

    Suggs,

You missed out on a whole chain of conversation (along the lines above) concerning Kaddy!
