    Morning everyone

Marion, thoughts are with you, hope you're bearing up under the circumstances x

Ajax I hope you feel much better soon, why are you still going to work when you're ill?

Hi Petrichor, glad you've shifted that tiny little weight gain :p If I remember rightly you said your walking had been down a little bit the week before so if you were back to your regular routine that's probably why it's come straight back off? Have a great time watching the tennis on that massssive tv :D

    Hiya guys.

Its taken me forever to get ready this morning. Its so warm here in kent that i have a skirt on with a strappy vest top, so i had to de fuzz and fake tan myself to get to an acceptable standard for going outside. Although why i bothered i dont know because guess who will be glued to her laptop all day!

I feel like crying already. Last night i just couldnt do anymore but i managed to highlight some in bed so it wasnt all a waste.

My boyfriends gone to asda to buy some ice lolly making stuff. heh. I wonder how old matt and i will be before we grow up!

Oh and the fish in our pond are shagging each other like theres no tomorrow. We already have had one fatality, the orf jumped out and we didnt see him so hes a gonner.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely messages. It really touched me and made me feel so supported.

I phoned my various brothers and sisters yesterday and they were all shocked about how I found out. There are seven of them and it was a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing and everyone assuming that someone else had told me! Anyway we are all fine now and there are no hard feelings on my side.

As I said Mom had been ill for awhile and this was expected.

She loved having her family around her, especially the youngsters, and when she passed there were about 10 people in the room with her talking about various fun things they had done with Mom (holidays. partys and such). There was a lot of laughter and chat, and when my sister glanced over at Mom she had passed. I am glad it was like that for her.

I have still kept up my eating plan (aside from a very large whiskey last night), and will go to get weighed in tomorrow morning. I know Mom worried about my weight although she didn't really say anything to me about it! I went for my walk this morning and felt she was with me (she loved walking and used to go miles!), so maybe she is going to help me!

Anyway once again THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH - I appreciate you all so much.:A

    Love
    Marion

Marion, I know what you mean about taking your mom with you walking. I think I may have mentioned on here before that my dad died at 68 of basically poor diet - and he was nowhere near as big as me. I decided to get fitter as a sort of tribute to my dad (and also my mom who died a month before that), knowing that they'd be looking down and hoping I didn;t repeat their mistakes.

I think you are excused not counting your large whiskey under the circumstances.

I don't know if this will appeal to anyone but Tesco are doing a free trial of their Tesco Diets thingy. It is £2.99 a week after that. I haven't looked to see when the offer ends or get any more details as I'm not interested myself :)

Marion, your latest post has brought tears to my eyes. First of all I am so glad you've talked to your siblings an they are upset about how you found out and that that side of things is ok for you. And then describing the way you mum passed was very very moving and beautiful. I imagine that must bring you all some peace in a naturally distressing time. And to feel her with you this morning was also very beautiful: I'm so glad that you feel you can carry on looking after yourself in her memory.

Missyg - eagerly awaiting your wi! I am fancinated by your stats and numbers approach and want to see if you've got it right: all your tables go right over my head, but only becasue I don't need to understand I haven't taken time to get my head round it - as I don't calorie count, nor can take regular exercise I've given my brain permission not to get to the bottom of it. But I do love lists and charts in general myself.
Vix - it is warm down here isn't it - really muggy. When it comes to ice lollies, you never have to grow up:D
This week, on the 8th is the first anniversary of my tackling my weight so focussing hard on good weigh in this week to be as close to target as possible. Also excited about OH 1st wi (non chart1) tomorrow. He's done pretty well, though as he gets used to it we'll be able to tighten up in a few areas.
Probably going to spend the day pottering at home. OH at work. Sorry you are feeling lousy ajax. Don't worry, only 4 months to go and you'll be feeling a new man:D .
    Pet, have a good time [STRIKE]ogling [/STRIKE]studying service technique:D

Having a tough day today. Opened my emails this morning to find a message sent to me on Facebook to say how sorry they were about my Mom. She died yesterday and nobody called me to tell me untill this afternoon. Have just been crying and sleeping most of the day.
Sorry to be so dreary but I needed to share with someone and you guys have always been here for me.

Mom had been in hospital for a couple of weeks and has been very poorly for a while. I went home (Canada) last year for her 80th birthday - so glad I went.

    Love
    Marion

*hugs* Marion so sorry to hear your sad news, glad you are feeling better this morning :)
