Grannynise, I still have an image of Vix measuring the bra of that smelly lady, when she accidentally touched her sweaty boob .... UGH!
Vix, maybe you should consider grannynise's suggestion, you definitely write some very colourful posts - worthy of me disturbing OH from time to time to read out bits (he's usually busy reading his forums).

Thanks ladies - all this M&S chat, Vix will be laughing at us again! I'll try to cycle over to the big M&S this week, that's got to be a 20+ mile round trip so that'll give me a good excuse for a decent bike ride too
Their 8's had better be 8's not 10's masquerading as 8's

Beanie - the target setting is a really interesting topic, you must do what feels right for you! You could always reduce the amount as you say, maintain on that for a while and see how you feel? If you like it, stick, and if you feel you want to lose a bit more later on, you canWhatever any of us choose, we can always change our minds, none of it is set in stone
BB - very wise words about finding the size that works for you. There is no point going for a size that's going to make you miserable and be a constant battle to maintain, you and others on here unfortunately have enough stuff that you cannot control without adding yet another challenge to it.
I'm not even sure how I ended up being an 8 as it's not something I set out to do :rotfl: I think as you say BB we find our own way, and somehow, somewhere things click!
In the battle 1/2 tin peaches v lemon curd tart - peaches wonI feel virtuous-ish. Unfortunately I'm 300 cals over my allowance today because I scoffed 2 packs of crisps and 3 chocolates after my workout! So that will need offsetting during the rest of the week
Did any of the wii people see my question a few pages back about 2-player wii-ing?
Hope everyone has had a nice bank holiday weekend x0 -
And I've just remembered, someone was talkingabout school dinners and butterscotch tart. I have the actual, authentic, school dinner recipe -- obtained by nefarious means about 30 years ago . Believe me, you don't want to make it, a milion trillion zillion calories in every mouthful :eek:0

Missyg~Think that part of the problem is that I feel in a way if I dont get to the 'set' target that I might be letting myself down so Im a bit
and part of me is not sure what to do?Though part of me does if that makes sense?

I'm with you BB - completely happy for those who have reached a size that works for them, with no desire to be an 8 or even close. Ideally I would like to be a 12ish (whatever that means in fashionland with such different sizings) as I think that's what my body is. However, if my illness doesn't allow it then I'll accept whatever it will allow without having to be miserable to be there. It is just a number after all.

Am starting to feel a bit better than last week though so I'd imagine I'll be on the Wii later this week and I'll PM you my number.
Thanks for the congrats about the AlbionYou must live right in BBC town, can you get me some autographs?
Aw Ajax hope you get better soon. Take care.
I used to live in Shepherd's Bush but have moved now (still close though!). My OH grew up there too. He remembers as a kid playing in the park next to the BBC and running over a little bridge to be met by a Dalek:eek: ! Dr Who was behind it (Tom Baker) with Laila Ward. We've still got the autographed photo.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -

I disagree, I hanker after a size but never achieved it, I envy size 8's and size 10's but know it would not really suit my height and build, I look at others and want it to be me, then I look at me and thank my lucky stars I am me, then I get one single bitter comment from the witch and I resort to self yuckiness, then I tell a friend she has lovely legs or whatever and she acts like me and all the other women out there' no way, I hate them I wish I had legs like....' It is natural and normal not to like everything about one's body, there is always someone else out there that has got what you want and you have got what they want:rolleyes:
Not interested in a wii either, kids have an xbox 360, ps2 and nintendo ds, was completely overtaken by the ds at xmas on brain training game (20 is the very best mark you can get) it took me 3 months to get it to 20 and when I did put it down and never touched it since, nothing to prove now:D
I won't let anyone else play with it just incase they jealously take off my brain age of 20:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
