  • KPC....I say KAYPEEEEECEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :p

Need your help (assuming I've remembered the right person)
You do all the re-enactments and get chased by dragons....

are they people dressed as dragons? In which case how do they make their wings? and would said wings be suitable for clubbing?

I'm dressing as a welsh dragon for a hen do at the end of July and wondered if you had the wing making knowhow....I was probably going to go for glittery red cardboard...

any suggestions welcome!!! (suggestions from everyone else also gratefully recieved!)

My only suggestion is that you make sure the costume doesn't hinder any drinking!!
I had a Ninja Turtles fancy dress party for my 21st, and made a Shredder costume, with helmet & cape & everything. I was well proud of it. Only problem was I couldn't wear the mask or I couldn't drink!! :D

    yeah, great typo pcl:D
kpc - I was a bit disappointed with the sw cake hunt too - probably a bit naive of me but any I found all use splenda, and I'm not too keen on artificial produce (though I turn a blind eye at muller light yoghurts:o ). But that chickpea one looks a goer so perhaps I'll try it just while OH is losing weight. I have just cooked the carrot cake that is on the recipe board sw section becasue it was recommended to me by a colleague and I think it's quite good (bare in mind I am not a cake connoseur) 12 syns for the lot and has mince meat & honey in it. Well done on your loss this week again - beginning to get a little run in the right direction :T .
Tagz - much sympathy re the photo - last Nov a group of us posted before and after/during photos and my 'before' I consider hideous. Like you, I thought I was just 'a bit chubby'. The photo disabused me of that. Very depressing but makes me look fantastic in the 'now' shot':rotfl: . You will be so glad you have got it one day.
Thanks for your comments missyg: I think I am very lucky compared to some peeps on the forum in that I don't believe I have food issues to contend with. I think I just like the stuff, and got so overweight because of medication and illness induced lack of exercise. I was also very lucky to so suit the sw plan which enables me to eat plenty of what I like and have a clear structure to return to when I have a few days off from thinking.

Vix, I've really let my swimming go, I was never very good but I had built up to 60-70 lengths of the council pool (25m) last year plus about 5 miles on the bike each way. I'm going on Saturday while my son's at a party so I'll see whether I can still do a similar distance or not :rotfl: bet it's crowded at weekends though

Anic, lucky thing, if I have an "eat everything" week the damage is 3-4lb! I'm sure you'll be fine next week if you're back on track now :)

Claireabelle :T , Tagz :T congrats - good luck those still to weigh.

PinkLipgloss what a great first day, very jealous you've been out on the bike, has it been nice weather where you are? Or are you a more hardy cyclist than me ;)

I did the Yoga for Abs dvd today, I like that one but it didn't feel enough so I'm going back on the thigh trainer with some weights to have another blast in a minute. Now I've mastered holding 2 weights in each hand I wonder if I can manage 3 :rotfl: Any recommendations for comfortable fitting wrist/ankle weights people? Not Tesco I've tried those.

LOL @ efrieze having the constitution of a bloke. Gotta be the prettiest blokey constitution I ever saw :) Big swings arenn't unusual hun, it's just a gain the same as any other gain. You've lost a squillion stone so I know you aint gonna get caught up in it and worried. x

Delly, 1lb gain for me please. After Bailey's birthday and my really naughty big bag of pakora on Sunday I'm not at all disappointed by that.

Big Ahhhhhh for ajax.... I have man-flu, headache and toothache. Have done nothing but watch snooker and drink Lemsip all day. It's a hard life.

    Good luck everyone x

    Afternoon All

Sorry had a couple of manic days, spent yesterday in the car for over 5 hours driving the 60 miles and back to an all day meeting! Then today was playing catch up!!

So very quickly and please forgive me if I miss anyone out.

Tagz the before photo is great, you WILL look back on it with affection. Ok I accept right now its not good, but as you say yourself no excuse to keep sticking the head in the sand :) I still have my before and after photos and at times when I feel fat, I do have a look to remind me. In fact on Sunday I cleared even more clothes out, 1 black bag for recycling, 1 suitcase full for the chairty shop and I put on my size 60inch chest rugby club blazer almost two of me could fit inside it now :T Maybe I should do that photo?

Anyways Welcome to rockrat and pinklipgloss, well done on your first day :)

Well done to the losers Claireabelle, KPC, WendyW and tagz and hugs and keep going to Anic and efrieze.

    Efrieze,
yes I do suffer with big swings, but I tend to just wear smaller boxers now ;) I think the problem is with the way the body changes during the week, hence why we are advised to weigh only once a week. But yes during the rugby season I can put on 7lb over the weekend for no reason and then can lose it over the next few days, so dont lose heart :) Besides your the best looking blokey type person on here, much better than that Ajax with his man-flu ;)

Well I been to the gym did
15mins on the bike 5.37 miles
15mins on the cross trainer 1.57 miles
    Jogged for 2miles in 17min40secs
    burnt around 954cals

So now its time to go shopping and get that out of way, big day tomorrow for me :D

    Catch you all later

Just got in from picking up the bike. £23.89 for new brake cables & grips & service, not too bad. I cycled it home & even managed to cycle up a small hill!!
Now I can cycle to the gym. :D

    Hello boys :D

Ajax :( Hope you feel better soon.

Hey Suggs well done on the clearing out, the rugby blazer photo would be cool! Have you got any Hong Kong pics yet or I have I missed them?

In fact we must be due some updated pics for people on here generally? :D

Fab gym results there, especially impressed with the treadmill time. What's your big day tomorrow, have I missed something else? :rotfl:

Glad you got the bike sorted Raph!

I did 2 sets of 400 reps with 2x 2lb and then 2x 1.5lb on the thigh trainer, that and the Yoga will have to do for today, although that's half an hour less compared to this time last week so I'll need to play catch up. Dietwise all good, 1201/day average so far. Phew!

    Bloody Hell.

I have had 4 radio one big weekend declines! How sodding annoying.

The first time anything or anyone comes to Kent and i dont get the chance to go!! Hate living in kent sometimes, its soo in londons shadow. Everything gets plonked in London which apparently covers the whole south east grr.

Hope you have better luck than i do FFM!
