Hi Wendy,
I am not following any particular diet. I am basically calorie counting and cutting out loads of crap that I have been eating. For instance I have swapped White Bread for Wholemeal Nimble, I am not having any more crisps or sweets. I am allowing myself a packet of maltesers a day if I need chocolate! I haven't completely cut out alchohol but am certainly cutting back. I have stopped having butter on my sandwiches. I am trying to keep to around 1500 calories a day.

Hi, everybody!
Thanks again for all the welcomes!
Hope you have all had good weekends. I've been doing OK on WWpoints so far, even managed to have a (sort of) roast today, well meat and lots of veg (no pots). On a bit of a downer now tho' as ex brought the kids home this afternoon and also brought his new gf into my house, didn't even know he had one! He infuriates me so much, I 'd love to see his reaction if I ever turned up at his house with a bloke (fat chance) that he never knew existed who was holding his dd's hand AAARRRGGGHHH! I wouldn't mind if I had been told he was seeing someone - Excuse the rant but I'm hoping if I post it here instead of letting it get to me then it might be out of my system before I reach for some comfort food.
Just about to catch up on the pages I've missed be back later xx0 -

bright idea don't reach for the comfort food, get your anger/revenge/ frustration etc out on the ex by looking at yourself and saying to yourself 'right you are going to be sorry, I am going to be so slim so lovely so gorgeous you will be sorry you went';)make yourself feel better and him worse;)

kittykat it sounds to me as if you are on the right track, snap I also have the nimble wholemeal and when on the ordinary SW diet I have a funsize packet of maltesers every night [ got to have me choccy fix ] don't take any notice of the strict fast foward diet I am on its just to re-motivate me and get me back on track after a long term diet you're inclined to lose your way a bit . But you seem to be doing fine ,good luck keep posting and I'm sure my little mate missyg will help, you out on calorie counting , I think she is our residant calorie expert loll:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

Victory is right on the button. If you comfort eat you will feel even worse about yourself in the long run. Every time you reach for a snack just think how fantastic it will feel when he looks at you and realises how great you are looking. When you've lost a bit your confidence will soar even higher knowing that this didn't affect your determination. Say how you are feeling on here to us - remember you can tell us anything, we don't know your friends and family so you can say what you like without worrying!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -

Amen to that!
I was wicked and had a small McEurope meal for lunch...they are new here, and decided I would try one. Bit of a reward for losing 1lb making it 2lbs for the week, so far. I guess that means I will be eating a lot of alkaline foods for the rest of the day to make up for it...lol
