lo all! hope you've had a good day. been out doing normal girl stuff with a firend - so lunch and shopping. found a fab shop in leeds selling vintage repro. tried ona 50s polka dot halterneck frock with a with a full circle skirt and it looked a million dollars. however, resisted the temptation to buy it as i'm hoping that it would hang like a sack in a couple of months time if you see what i mean. so splurged on new makeup which is most unlike me. the nice lady in B never talked me into a shimmery lilac eyeshadwo with a screaming purple one for my saloon girl costume in july. spent far too many pennies but never mind. Did anyone see doctor who? how good!?!?!?!

dragon, grrr to DrDs boss. What a %$£%. hope you are all feeling better soon. Glad to see Pet being cheerful, i do miss your posts!

    Hey Wendy

Here's my rough calculation, perhaps other calorie counters will cast their eye over it and make sure my numbers seem about right? I'm not sure about the mayo.

    1/2 grapefruit........................30
    2 weetabix...........................128
    200ml skimmed milk....................68
    2 small slices wholemeal bread.......150
    1 level tbs reduced calorie mayo......40 (?)
    2 oz skinless chicken.................88
    watercress.............................6
small pot of yogurt [below 100cals]...90 (approx)
    any conveniance meal <350 cals.......350
    small banana.........................140
    1 apple...............................50
    2 rich tea fingers....................50
    black tea..............................0
    black coffee...........................0
    low cal squash.........................4
    water..................................0
    Total approx.......................1,194

It looks to me like it's based on around 1,200 calories per day which is what we're told should be the minimum intake for a female :) You might be on a bit less if you are not using the whole 350 for dinner etc.

As comparison, my average intake over the past 6 weeks has been 1,271/day... add on the exercise... and I've lost a total of 4lb in that time (yet to weigh in on week 6).

    Wendy,

Best of luck with the Fast Forward eating plan - I've never heard of it before - is it new?

pinklipgloss no the fast forward diet isn't new but you go on it at the discretion of your consultant they usually try you with the sas sheet first its when you either have been dieting a long time like me or seem to have come to a full stop and its to give you a kick start, you can't stay on for more than 2 weeks either .ajax says I'm to expect a small gain when I come of it but I don't fancy that much, wednesday is my weigh in so we'll see , still got a bad head ,which isn't like me at all, thanks for the good wishes

That happens to me too sometimes when I have a particularly strict day(s), I wonder why:think: , they're quite cracking headaches and like you Wendy, I very rarely get them otherwise...

...I've been having strange days, foodwise, of late. Grazing rather than having any proper meals. I love ice cream and have been having loads of it at the expense of a proper meal, but even though I'm feeling okay I know it can't be good for me long term, so I'm resisting going to the shop today to replenish my supply. It's my way of dealing with things like this, if it's not in the house then I'm quite okay without it and don't crave it, but if it's there then it just keeps calling to me :o ...

...I'm surprised with the FF plan with SW, as I thought SW was the one for not restricting foods depending on what day you followed, but it should get the desired results if it's adhered to and that's what matters :j (or it could be that I've read it wrong :rotfl: )...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Morning everyone.I gave into temptation last night and ordered a pizza to watch Britains got talent.
I did really want a kebab but thats too much of a waste, so I resisted!!!!
I ate 2 pieces of the pizza and the rest went in the fridge so the kids can eat it when they get back from their dads.

I have Rosemary Conleys GI hip and Thigh book on it's way from Play.com.
I'm hoping it's here tomorrow and I can get started on that. Kids will be back to school so I will be walking with my friend again.Aslong as the heavy rain stays away.We don't mind drizzle though :)
Well done to all the recent losses.Good luck to all weighing in tomorrow.
I will let you know how I get on with Rosemary.
lost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

    Morning molly and all.

I did read the thread yesterday but didn't say anything after a few digs about writing too much :p

Wendy, I dunno why I have to be right, it's just universally accepted :D:p:D:p:D

Good work FFM and missy (and did Bb get in on it too?) with the "one fell swoop" thing... you thought of auditioning for Balderdash And Piffle? (one of my most favouritest programs)

Did a slow cooker thingy yesterday, almost filled the thing up with: one can of ratatouille, one can of spicy mixed beans, one can of adzuki beans, one can of chickpeas, one can of red kidney beans, one carton of passata, one bag of Quorn pieces, an already-open bag of frozen veg, some dried chilli flakes, some cumin seeds and some curry powder. It made five full freezer containers (£1 for 10 from poundland) so I'm quite happy with that. Tastes delicious too... or at least Bailey and I think so, MrsA isn't keen as it's too spicy for her.

Off for a lunch out today, meeting some of MrsA's friends down in Worcestershire. I'm 90% certain it will be a potato for me. May have to have a pint of mild for daily syns. I've committed to driving to make sure I don't have more than one, as one tends to lead to another and then an eighth with me. :o

Wendy you shouldn't have a small gain until you weigh in after a week back on normal SW. Your two FF weeks should see you losing like there's no tomorrow. Missy, FF is variable person to person - you're assigned units (similar to WW points) based on stats like weight etc
