I've just found a lump in my breast

I've just taken my photo of the new pink lamp. It was hard to photograph, probably as it is well dark here now and the lighting isn't the best, but I hope you can see enough to see it is very pretty
The lampshade is made from hundreds of little tiny gems strung on thin wire, and when lit it shines a pinkness that is so joyous, it serves it's purpose well. I shall use it as my bedside light in my new cottage, so that every night when I go to sleep I shall remember this week and all you have done for me to get me through it :grouphug:
The picture really doesn't do this lamp justice, I am no photograher
When it is not lit, the little gems are transparent, I put a pink tinited bulb in. Tried to find this lamp on the Homebase wesite but it's not on there even though I bought this at Homebase this evening. Ah well...~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -

Hi Ember. Just caught up with the thread again. You sound much better over tha last couple of days. I'm glad you got a second opinion and the doc gave you good news.
What a lovely lamp,I might have to get one myself!! Our bedroom is lilac so I think it will look at home in there...:D
Have a great weekend and stay strong!!

p.s....give your hubby a hug from me,he's your rock to get you through this just like mine was and continues to be.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Gorgeous! I love it. Have a good weekend.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Ember the lamp is perfect. Love the colour. Hope you have a good weekend too, lots of packing I expect! Bet your babies like the lamp when its lit. Ours loves it when the lights go on the Christmas tree. Our dog is lying by my feet trying to sleep but we got rain, thunder and lightening and he doesn't like it. He's trying to be brave, not sure whose protecting who!!!0

I am so blessed. I sit here in the quiet of the night, looking at my little pink candle shining with hope, watching my kitten playing with his toy mouse on the carpet and listening to the radio playing gentle music in the background. The world tonight is not such as scary a place as it was on Monday. In a little while I will go get ready for bed and massage in my aromatherapy blend before settling down for a quiet read tucked under my duvet, safe and warm.
I was talking with my hubby about the needle aspiration earlier, he is concerned it is going to hurt me, I am a little too, but it will be a small price to pay to have everything back to normal. I am going to try not to worry about that part of it and enjoy my weekend. We are both starting to bring into conversation the cottage again, which is nice, as we have barely spoke about it these past few days. It didn't seem important to either of us once I had discovered the lump, as it was then known. Of course, now I have my head straight and am no longer a screaming, frantic wreck, it is affectionately known as my cyst. Nash is getting so big and has taken a sudden liking to sliced roast beef. I think he may end up getting a slice a day just like Plymouth used to have a slice a day of honey roast ham.
I am getting so excited about Wednesday, and one thing I am looking forward to so much is being able to pick apples off my very own tree. The land that comes with the cottage has a few apple trees, so I will be able to make lots of apples pies/crumbles which my hubby loves. There is also a local walking group so I plan on joining that which should be fun. As soon as I get the hassle of Tuesday out of the way, Wednesday will be here and we get the keys to our new cottage. Wednesday is going to be a good day!~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -

Thank You so much Maria :grouphug: I will post on the site as soon as I return from the hospital. I can't wait to give you all the good news and if you all want to come to a housewarming, you would all be most welcome. Can Scotland handle a bunch of celebrating MSErs? Of course it can .... :rotfl:
Going to bed now, Goodnight.~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -

Really glad the link didn't work as I think the lamp you have chosen, its colour and symbology is perfect!
Look about the FNA test I cant say more to reassure you about it except think of all the things we spend time angsting (is it a real word?) difficult phone calls, raising difficult subjects with friends etc ...how often is the thought worse than the reality?
Also when I have a difficult thing coming up I tell myself it WILL become the past. So, while you are waiting you can tell yourself that in the evening you will be looking BACK on events and so you can get through the however many minutes it takes. ( actually I realise that it doesn't come over as completely sound logic but it works for me )
Best wishes0
