Hi
Yes! I did go shopping, I was late getting away, almost 5pm when I left the house (husbands and cats do delay occcasionally lol) and I decided to go have a look around Homebase for a Lamp. I found a beautiful one, its a table lamp with a 'pink crystal' type lamp shade. It is beautiful and I especially liked it because of the 'pink' colour as that represents the pink used by the Breast cancer research campaign. I popped into a charity shop and they were selling the little pinki rings (pink rubber) with the words 'women together' engraved into the rubber. I have been wearing mine since I bought it yesterday when I went to town to buy my Evening Primrose Oil. I popped into another store on way home (Spar) as I had forgotten to by a bulb for my new lamp  so I bought an 'energy saving' 11 watt bulb that is equivelent to the 60 watts recommended on the shade. I am so pleased with my new lamp, it is for our new cottage but I am going to open it up, put the bulb in a take a pic for you all to see it as that is important for me to do, as it represents my time spent with you all on here this past few days whilst I wait for my appointment on Tuesday. I will take the pic later this evening and put it up tonight. I am going to go off and have a cup of tea now as I am shattered with all that shoppingMy lamp cost £29.99 and I still have change from the £50, so that's cool too :T
Whenever I switch this pink lamp on I shall think of the love, support and care you have all shown me this week. It shall remain a very special lamp to me and my husband.
Ember xx
ps. He loves it :T :T~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -

Why not light yourself a pink candle to represent hope and faith in the future - which should be rosy (forgive the pun)."This site is addictive!"

Elona, what a wonderful ideaI have a small pink candle upstairs in my bedroom. I shall light that as I light my table lamp tonight. I hope it's a nice picture as it's getting dark here, but hopefully you will see how pretty the lamp is. A pink candle and a pink lamp. Wonder, Hope, Love and Faith, it will represent them all.

Ember, the lamp sounds beautiful. You sound so much better over the last few days. keep it up. You got enough left to buy those champagne flutes you were talking about last night and/or a BIG bottle to go with. Tuesday night, pink lamp, pink candle and champagne, wow.0

Ember: Have just finished the whole thread and cannot believe how involved I have become in it your story. Can imagine only too well the absolute panic that envelopes you (having suffered panic attacks). However....... you now seem soooo much calmer, happier - and - OPTIMISTIC!! Positive thought does wonders added with the doctor's opinions on your second visit, you must hang on to these thoughts. REMEMBER: we all have our guardian angels. Do not be afraid to talk to her and ask her help. And after Tuesday, when you are rejoicing being 'alive' again, remember to thank her!! Please let us know soonest. We are all with you. Buy some earplugs for the sound of cheers on this website!! Luv and kisses."When you want something said, ask a man.
When you want something DONE, ask a woman" - Margaret Thatcher0
