    Hi All,

I know this tread has been quiet for a few months, but I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I really want to make my friends wedding tiara, she wants a double wishbone style one covered with crystals. The thing I was wondering is, how do I go about making the base? Any help would be most appreciated! X

Buy the base, it's the best way of doing it, you can either buy the single base and make the wishbone part with wire, or you can actually buy wishbone bases

Try the Bead Shed in Carlisle, they only have an Ebay shop now, but I am sure that Sooz said she was getting some in, if you can't see them in the shop, drop her an email, she may just have not got round to listing them.
  • I have a quick question and this seemed the place to ask it :D
Sometime last year I remember seeing a website selling crystal skull pendants - just the pendant itself, no chain - for a few quid each. The pendant was just a simple skull carved out of semi-precious gem stones like rose quartz or haematite. I've had an idea for a necklace to make but I need some of these and now I can't find them anywhere! Or at least not for less than £10!
Has anyone seen these at a reasonable price?

Ive seen the skull pendants on the international craft website for a very reasonable price (you'll be very pleased). I bought a rose quartz skull pendant but havent decided what else to do with it yet, i know they had rock crystal and some other semi-precious pendants.:):)

    Hi

I have decided to go at jewellery making.........

brought selection beads, metal wire, hair grips, can anyone recommend any gd ebay stores.

I used emjems - shes fab, and another 2 can't remember the names,

I'm also looking at doing the shepherd bookmarks,

+ this is the fun-bit - I may be doing a craft group with children at dd school, so they need to be cheap, have to outlay myself, then charge say £1.00 a week, but do it as a term, so they get a selection of things to take away.

I'm desperate for any ideas, and suggestions xx

PS - About 20yrs I use to make wacks of necklaces and earrings, then gave up......
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
