    Sprinkle down bicarbonate of soda then with a nail brush gently brush it into the carpet. Leave it for a couple of hours and then vacuum off - that should do it :)

    Bicarb as Rainy-Days said or Nutradol. Its in a blue can ircc, you can find it with all the cleaning bits and bobs.

    We did the same in a holiday flat, :eek: it worked wonders.

    Thankyou so much, for both of your posts!

    I've got some Bi-carb in the cuboard so I will go sprinkle and scrub with that, then if that doesn't work I'll try the Nutradol.

    I can't wait to hear if it works I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old here so I know all about strange things on carpets :)
