Still have lentil soup, veg curry and home made bread from yesterday so that will do for tea tonight.

Might pop round to the local wool shop for pretty wool for preemie hats later.

Two loads of washing are on the line and just going to get dressed and look like I have been working fingers to the bone.;)

Afternoon everybody. Haven't posted for a couple of days as we've been busy with DIY at home. Turned into a nightmare, but that's a whole other story.

    Aussie - Happy [strike]hobnob[/strike], [strike]snickerdoodle[/strike], Anzac Day :D:D:D

((((((Big Hugs)))))) to everyone who is in need of them.

I'm off to catch up on the rest of my bits and bobs, will check in with you all later.

  • Aussie, those pics are beautiful, it looks really gorgeous there :)

Good luck Crazychik with your dad, it's horrible when you wake up from a dream like that :(

((((Hugs))))) for all those with poorly OH's too, hope they're not feeling too pitiful.

Got back from Uni earlier - after getting there to find our lecture cancelled for the 2nd week running  It's nearly 20 miles each way for me, but others had travelled from London, or straight from working a night-shift. And we have got such a busy last few weeks of term, pulling everything together & writing essays that it ends up being a waste of a day.

Anyway more time to prepare for tonight's date.... not sure if I'm more nervous or looking forward to it....!!!

    Afternoon everyone

Churchmouse - I always play the domestic godess card when the in-laws are around. I agree about taking every vistory when you can get it!!!!!!!

Anzac Day I have to confess that I thought it was a day celebrating the variation of twinks hobnobs that turns them into anzac biscuits ???

squiggly- Good luck on your date. I will want all the juicy details tomorrow please :D

well went for my first reflexology appointment at the local training salon. I ahve to say the therapist was brilliant and I am so pleased I signed up to be her case-study - 6 treatments in all :D Aparently though I have a bit of stress in my shoulders and water retention - how you can tell that form my feet is anyones guess!!

Also went to Mr T's and I can't believe the prices, not only has there been one or two rises in basics, but more rises across the board. I was as thrifty as I could be, dropping down a few brands and cutting back on other things and saved quite a bit of money - but not sure that I could keep it up (DH tends to sabotage my efforts!!!)

right - after perusing on here a bit more I am off to make some cakes to use up some eggs and going-off fruit and then must to the final push of study. Thanks forall your kinds words about my exam the other day - they were greatly appreciated.

Right, on the desktop now, the laptop with it's keyboard that is going to drive me to drink, is sitting on the floor and I swear it's out of it's mind with jealously...

Anyway I am a morning person, and I have nothing to say, it's afternoon now, brain does not work afternoon shifts. It must be a miracle, I have NOTHING to say.......
Today, my BEST is good enough.
