  • Wharfedale DV832B Set Top Box (532-0503) is one I have seen in Argos for £39.99. It would appear from DigitalSpy that this is one of the better boxes on the market at present. Can anyone confirm this who has one already as this one does seem more appealing to me even though I haven't heard of the make before.

Asda's is £24.99; it has a 7 day guide and 2 scart sockets (I think!). It seems to be almost identical to the Tesco one at £29.99.

    Sorry I can't find any pictures/links

Sainsbury are doing an Alba at £24.99, smaller and neater than the Asda or Tesco ones. Though the Asda Durabrand has had good reviews.

Also doing an Alba dvd recorder for £64.99, and a 17" widescreen Technosonic LCD tv with built in dvd player for £279

go to 'media' then terrestrial and click on the link for 'box reviews'

or there should be a link about half way down the frontpage, click the 'terrestrial box' review option.

! presume you are trying to link to a post on this thread, the easieast way is to just give the post number, eg your last post is #248. The new link shortening does not seem to allow links to a post, could be wrong tho, will soon find out ;)

Apologies, have discovered that the Asda one is in fact £29.97.
