Does this box have a 7 day Electronic Programme Guide?

I was looking at the Goodman's GDB3 and I wondered what people thought of it.

My parents bought this one from John Lewis's.
First one didnt work, second one didnt work. They bought the Sony in the end and it it's the dogs wotsits.
  • My sister bought a Freeview box but couldn't get a signal - the shop took it back because she opened the box carefully and used her own batteries in the remote while she checked it out - then returned it as an unwanted gift.

(Argos warn you you can't take them back unless they're faulty though)
  • Check out Richer Sounds, they have a mitsibushi one thats going for £30, down from £100. Its only availble in stores though, and they don't have many left.
  • I've just bought an Alba STB1 for £29.99 with free postage rom Amazon

    It's excellent, I really can't fault it!
  • Hi Tesco are now selling Freeview boxes for under £20 I think its an ALBA
  • Medion have a freeview box on their site for under £30.00 with no p&p @ medion.co.uk
  • For those that have yet to open their wallets, I have just bought a couple of Techwood TWDFV2s for my kids, from Currys. Using RGB the picture is great. They were £26.99 each and seem just as good as the (rather nice looking..) Sony box that we bought a few years ago for four times the price!

    - There's only one scart and no TUTV slot, but that won't be a problem in their bedrooms.

Which Tesco(s) are selling freeview boxes for under £20, because i have seen this price anywhere. In the latest leaflet delivered with the free paper in Bristol, Tesco are selling Freeview boxes for just under £25.
