    Afternoon everyone,

well didn`t i jinx the weather earlier this morning! i`ll have to learn to keep my big mouth shut, i promise not to mention it tomorrow morning, in fact it`s my day off so i`ll pobably have a nice lie in.:D

Metherer - glad you`re feeling better today

    Ronankfan - Happy Anniversary

You`ve had me in stitches with the teenage tales of horror lol, glad i only have the houndies to worry about :D they mostly do as they`re told and are a constant source of amusement, they get looked after as if they were kids though and spoilt rotten, they`re our kid substitutes. DH always says that they get looked after better than some of the kids he knows.

I`m going to be mealplanning and doing my freezer inventory over the next couple of days, i should have done this last week but w**k got in the way and left me shattered.

DH should be off tomorrow and we have a tree to take down in the garden  i`m actually dreading this and wish it didn`t have to come down as it`s lovely but with the high winds we`ve been having it`s started to lean and i`m afraid that it will end up next door if it`s not sorted out soon. I can`t decide what to do with the washing as the weather is so changeable today, nice at the moment but after the really heavy rain and hailstones earlier it could turn again and probably will when i`m up in the hills with the dogs.

I`m going to have a look through my recipe folder in a little whils too and decide what goodies to bake over the weekend.
    Have a lovely afternoon

I have been fed up for a few week and not really had much to say so I stayed away rather than posting misery from me when really I had no reason to be miserable, anyway I am here now and feel much better in myself especially as the current bun is out and beaming through my windows!!
I have been busy with w*** well trying to generate some new business and and I am finding it knackering:rolleyes:

I sometimes think it is worse feeling miserable without an obvious reason. No question bright days do help.

Spicy chicken thighs and veg curry for tea.

Home made bread rolls are in the oven.

A sunflower loaf is proving ready to bake later and we got a load of shopping from Lidl.

Looks as if the new people are moving in to the house next door so the "sold" sign should be gone soon -:j

Now if the house across the road that is sold gets people moved in soon and the board gets taken down then maybe we can sell our house!

Fingers and toes crossed for Chriscas DIL and the baby.

Hugs to anyone who could do with one.

    Evening all

Another busy day at work, am looking forward to my bed. Met up with friends and their children afterschool. Refused to let DS eat there, it was £3.50 for a two course kids meal, which is ridiculous when I have food at home. Luckily we all thought the same thing.

Had beans on toast for tea as we were starving and wanted something quick. Ds now in bath, OH told me he was crying about his fish again before he went to school.

Hugs to anyone who wants one and their poorly OH's. Welcome FI27. Off to tidy up. Will try and get an early night tonight as OH is on nights. Am pleased about the bank charges test case, will have a look tomorrow what it all means.

    Have a good evening all.

Evening again. Probably the last visit of the day as Top Gear is on at 8. A repeat I think, but hey.

Just been and got myself blogged up - its called And Sebastian makes four. Hester and Ceridwen - how do you sort out the time format? It shows I was posting at 10am. It lies!

DH is looking a lot brighter. I've made him eat properly today, even though he didn't feel like it, and it seems to have done him good. Hopefully his guts can go back to normal and the antibiotics can concentrate on curing the infection in his leg.

    Have a good evening all,

    Metherer

Welcome FI27, hugs to Smokey, PP, Mrs Mix & everyone else in need.
Martyn, glad to see you manager the pointy things.
Hubby's head looks a little better, less swollen & not bleeding, but I'm keeping an eye on it.
I'm printing out some hat patterns to crochet, but have some sewing to do this evening. Hubby has the snooker on, so I'll do the sewing upstairs, lol.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester

Hi Everyone! Have only skimmed the thread, but laughed so much at the teenager stories! Been there, done that!!!
Rmac - glad the exam was ok - good luck for the last one when it comes.
AnnieBL, thought so much about you and the family yesterday.
Nothing OS yet, but soon be the w/e and I can think of something other than school (and no, our school wasn't affected today).
