    yeh they all seemed nice and were friendly and everything... they all seemed to know each other well though (maybe a couple or something in the group).

    The next meeting is a month away now as the last one was on Sunday.

    Sounds good Jen, maybe I should do that as I do like reading. How did you find out where a group in your area was?

    Riq - I have no idea where Blackburn is. I am an ignorant Londoner who thinks anywhere above Oxford is too far North.:p

    Anyway people, I have to dash, I need to go for a run. See if I can do 6.25 miles in 55 mins. That's my target anyway!! We'll see!

    EDIT: 115k - Where I live is directly 25miles north of Manchester. Tell me you know where that is? My friend who lives in London has a housemate who does not know where Manchester is! Ignorant southern fools! :p;)

    Evening all!
    There are lots of places to find book clubs- local libraries and bookshops are good places to start.

    Most of my local ones were in the day .....I ended up joining an online bookclub instead. I love mine as we read a real mix of books and it isn't pretentious!!
