I read the whole thread....did I miss the pic? Shoot!
Evening all- thought I'd pop in for a chat before heading to the gym later.
Maverick (as in Top Gun??) I guess the fact that I'm in here means my tips might not be worth much. Summary of my experience

    1. Paid dating sites better than unpaid and Parship.co.uk best so far
    2. Evening classes good but cost as well! Archery and photography have best range talent so far for both male and female- bricklaying good for meeting blokes!!
    3. Ceroc dancing great for meeting new people and getting fit but once again it costs!!
Can't think of any other recommendations at the moment!! Anyone tried golf??

Yeah Maverick did originally stem from Top Gun - lol.. kinda stuck and have had the same user name for 7 years - i was 33 at the time..

Thanks for the tips - was toying with evening classes..
What came first, the music or the misery? Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

I can deal with anything except spiders.

Well I can deal with small spiders, but then they get bit enough so you can see the joints in their legs and their actual 'face' I just can't handle it.

I was in our loft once and you have to pull yourself in balancing on the banister ove the stairs (very dangerous, but very manly!) and I almost fell down as the spider up there must have been the size of my fist including it's legs.

    :(

Oh and yes, you need to log on later in the evening Lucy. :D

That's when all the magic happens. So to speak.

Any other bug or creature then fine, just not spiders.

There is a sloping chart which illustrates how much I would be willing to help depending on size of spider. I'm sure you can guess what the general rule is! :D
